“Here I am, a hungry English-Canadian, in the most random part of town while visiting Quebec City. I drove by this place and noticed it had a full parking lot and a lot of people around. I thought to myself this is a good sign.

As soon as I walked in, the place was busy and it was clear it was popular with locals.

To start, I ordered the pea soup and it was delicious. It had little bits of pork in it and was rich but still very flavorful. The pizza seemed to be popular so i got a mini one with a cesar salad. It was very good. The dough itself tasted fresh and was fluffy, but it still held the toppings really well and was perfectly baked. I was told the locals put butter on the pizza crust so I gave it a try and it was surpringly good. The salad was nice too, crisp leaves, perfect amount of dressing and REAL bacon!

My waiter was very polite and welcoming. I don’t speak French very well and there was a bit of a language barrier, but I still felt very well taken care of. The whole experience felt genuine and I’m really glad I stopped in.“

“Excellent place! We visited with our whole family and everyone left full and happy. The lasagna was absolutely delicious.
I would especially like to mention the staff — everything was great. Even though the entire menu was in French, our waiter kindly explained every dish we chose in English and made sure we understood everything.
We visited on Saturday evening and were surprised that there were still available tables. We were also impressed by the prices — very affordable for such delicious food and great service.
