“Here I am, a hungry English-Canadian, in the most random part of town while visiting Quebec City. I drove by this place and noticed it had a full parking lot and a lot of people around. I thought to myself this is a good sign.

As soon as I walked in, the place was busy and it was clear it was popular with locals.

To start, I ordered the pea soup and it was delicious. It had little bits of pork in it and was rich but still very flavorful. The pizza seemed to be popular so i got a mini one with a cesar salad. It was very good. The dough itself tasted fresh and was fluffy, but it still held the toppings really well and was perfectly baked. I was told the locals put butter on the pizza crust so I gave it a try and it was surpringly good. The salad was nice too, crisp leaves, perfect amount of dressing and REAL bacon!

My waiter was very polite and welcoming. I don’t speak French very well and there was a bit of a language barrier, but I still felt very well taken care of. The whole experience felt genuine and I’m really glad I stopped in.“

“I am English speaking with dietary needs so it’s a bit hard to order at restaurants. Our party of 6 stopped in to Normandin hoping I could find something for lunch. Our two amazing waitresses came to my rescue to ensure I had what I needed. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND their call of duty to ensure we had a pleasant lunch. We laughed so much as our food was being prepared. When the food came it was delicious! Thank you, Audrey and Marie-Eve, for making an otherwise uncomfortable special needs situation into a memorable lunch in Canada! Love from your new Florida BFFs!“

“Went there for the first time today since i was in the area and the place caught my eye when passing nearby on the bus.

The pizza is amazing, ordered a 9 inch 4 cheese pizza and everything was right, amount of sauce/cheese, very good crust, bake just right, it was delicious after a long day with no dinner yet in my belly.

i went there outside of rush hour but ambience was cozy and staff is very chill and friendly :)“

“Normandin in Fleur de Lys was the first Normandin I ever visited over 15 years ago, and it’s still a go-to spot. Whether for a quick bite, breakfast, or their pizza, it never disappoints. The place is always clean and welcoming with great hospitality. I haven’t tried their frozen food yet, but I’m sure it’s just as good.“

“Absolutely fabulous experience! My le Cheesy Boeuf was incredibly delicious and oh so cheesy and accompanied by perfectly cooked, crispy fries and super fruity ketchup. My wife loved her Gourmet burger, also with excellent fries and chef's salad. A pitcher of beer crafted in Montreal made a perfect match for both and a shared bowl of Cafe au Lait capped our meal perfectly.

Kate's very friendly, gracious and helpful service made for an exceptional evening out. We will most certainly return to this location if ever we return to Levi's. Fantastique!“

“Take-out familiale pour faire un coup vite sur la route. Un petit oublie a été fait lorsqu'ils nous ont remis la commande. Il manquait deux items pour les enfants (poutine et pogo). “We recently visited Normandin for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had heard good things and wanted to try it out, and it did not disappoint!

We started with a kids’ meal and a cheese pizza. The cheese pizza was absolutely delicious — perfectly baked with just the right amount of flavor that even the adults enjoyed stealing bites. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate brownie, and honestly, it was out of this world. Rich, warm, and decadent — it’s a must-try if you visit!

We also ordered ribs and spaghetti with bolognese. The ribs were tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, while the bolognese was hearty and comforting, just like a homemade classic. Every dish we tried was prepared with care and tasted amazing.

On top of the food, the ambience of the restaurant was welcoming and family-friendly, which made it perfect for us. The service was attentive without being rushed, and we felt very comfortable throughout the meal.

“Mikes in Quebec seems entirely different than in Moncton New Brunswick. In our city they went out of business. Here in a food court we had our best pepperoni pizza in recent memory! High quality cheese and pepperoni and perfectly cooked. I wish we had one of these in our home town! My family will be returning to this for our next Quebec mall adventure.“

“This is our go to restaurant for supper when we come to visit my reserve in Wendake. It's a nice family restaurant with a comfortable atmosphere. Sophie is an excellent server with attention to detail and always ensuring total satisfaction. The pizza is super good, so is the general tao bowl, the 3 piece fried chicken and ceasar salad.

The staff did speak good enough English, but there only so few of them working and the service as a result was somewhat sluggish.
