About Un thé au Sahara
Un thé au Sahara Reviews
Great cuisine, excellent service, friendly staff.
Le service est excellent, tout comme la nourriture. Une ambiance chaleureuse. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit.
Such nice people! We loved that the restaurant was set back from the craziness of the main street. The owner and his wife made delicious food. The prices were fantastic. Highly recommend you stop in.
Un thé au Sahara is a cozy restaurant located off the main street, with a small staff of one cook and one waitress. Despite the possibility of a wait for food, the delicious dishes like fresh hummus, chicken prune tagine, and Moroccan soup make it worth it. The prices are reasonable, with menu items priced around $17. The authentic Moroccan flavors impressed diners, with dishes like Harira, Lamb and Prune Tajine, and Baklava standing out. The lamb tagine with prunes is delicious, and the lamb kebab is also great. Vegetarian options include Vegetable Tagine and Couscous, along with various appetizers. The Moroccan soup appetizer is a flavorful mix of spices, fresh herbs, and chickpeas in a tomato base. The friendly service and pleasant atmosphere, along with the very nice Moroccan decor, add to the overall dining experience. While not a luxury establishment, the warm and welcoming family-run restaurant in old Quebec earned high praise from satisfied customers who found it to be a much better dining choice than other trendy options.
