“This is the 3rd time my wife and I dinned at Sofia in Rosemère. This time it was a disappointment. Firstly, I need to say that the food was great! However, the service was lousy at best. It took 45 min from the time we ordered until we were served and when the food arrived, we had no cutlery or plates to share what we ordered. We had to ask the waitress for those. Then, the music was at least at 90-100 decibels and was getting louder as the evening progressed. Finally, the restaurant was unbearably hot since all the patio doors were wide open on a hot night even when there were no more customers sitting outside in the patio. We are not going again at Sofia Rosemère 😠“

“First, the servers are gentle, kind and patient. I had a delicious hot matcha latte, tempeh bacon and Just Egg sandwich in an English muffin sandwich. SO SO good!

To bring home: chocolate chip Smores cookies and a cinnamon bun. Haven't eaten the latter yet but the cookie is TOP-NOTCH.

All in all, it MADE my day to eat here. The nice owner was there and I spoke to her briefly. I recommend this place 1000 percent 👌“

“Un lieu que je fréquente à l’occasion et qui ne déçoit jamais. Chez Les Insulaires, on vient d’abord pour la bière — et on reste pour l’expérience. La Phare et la Lux brillent franchement parmi leurs créations : chacune bien construite, expressive, avec cette touche d’élégance qui fait qu’on y revient. Le Blanton’s Old Fashioned m’a aussi franchement séduit : soigné, précis, avec juste ce qu’il faut d’aplomb. Le service ? Sympathique, attentif, à l’image de l’endroit. “I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to for this one because it was such a great experience. The food was delicious, and our server, Soo, was incredibly kind and friendly. She took the time to explain the menu and had such a positive attitude throughout. It really made our visit special. Definitely a place I’d come back to!“

“If you are looking for authentic Indian food, this is the place to go. I've been gong there for over 10 years now and never did they disappoint. I used to dine in before having a kid and service was impeccable. Now it's easier for the family to take out but still get great service and succulent delicious food every single time.

“I was a regular of their buffet restaurant in Pierrefonds 25-30 years ago, before I moved from Quebec. Yesterday I ordered a whole bunch of their stuff, over $200 for take home in Hawkesbury to put in my freezer and it is absolutely delicious! I am amazed of the high-quality and I am going to be a regular customer for takeout from now on.

“J'ai été servi par la serveuse Jennifer aujourd'hui et c'est le pire service que j'ai déjà reçu. On commande l'assiete gourmand avec des oeufs pochés, elle amène des oeufs brouillés, avant même que nous ayons le temps de lui dire quelque chose, elle est partie. Nous attendons 6 minutes avant de manger pour voir si elle va venir nous demandez si tout est correct pour pouvoir lui en faire part mais elle ne ce présente pas et est introuvable, donc ma fille mange ses oeufs brouillés froids... Presque 30 minutes plus tard, elle nous demande si nous allons prendre des boites pour emporter ce que nous n'avons pas manger, je lui fait part que nous allons prendre une seule boite puisque je n'ai pas aimer mon assiette de grilled cheese (je n'ai même pas mangé la moitié de la moitié), elle le ramasse et part. Elle amène la boîte pour emporter et la facture, n'offre rien pour compenser et ne dit absolument rien. J'attends plusieurs minutes pour payer la facture, je demande même à un autre serveur si c'est possible de payer la facture avec lui et il me répond que non que ça sera avec ma serveuse donc j'attends... Au moment de payer, je ne laisse pas de pourboire parce que selon moi ce dernier va avec le service reçu, dans ce cas presque aucun et celui donné comporte des erreurs. Ella n'a pas vu que j'étais entrain de passer devant le poste d'accueil pour partir et je l'entends dire à d'autres serveurs/ses que je n'ai pas laissé de pourboire, une serveuse lui à même dit "peut-être sur la table". Well Jennifer, ton service aux tables et ton service à la clientèle n'était aucunement à la hauteur d'un pourboire.“

At dinner time, at New York Fries at Carrefour Laval, I was treated to a large poutine named in my honor: the “Seb” poutine.
