“Excellent restaurant with good food, wine and drinks. Have been here quite often and never been disappointed. Only thing I find is a problem is the NOISE - especially when the place is full.“

“Came here with a friend for a little cocktail night out! It was walking distance from our hotel (the Sheraton) so we decided to give it a try! I ordered the Martingale and some fresh oysters. My cocktail was the perfect blend of strong, sweet, and citrusy. The oysters were also very fresh and paired well with the toppings!

We absolutely loved the vibe of this place—buzzing and lively but not too loud so we could hear each other while chatting. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be coming back the next time I’m in the city!“

The service was immaculate… very attentive, when reading the menu to us, they painted a description of each dish…
We ended up ordering 6 plates… annnnnnd…
Tough to pick a favourite because not a single dish was a miss, but the beef tongue was the standout for us… bananas.. so good.

“The ambiance and food were great. However, being in the hotel industry and knowing how important and yet rare to get a great service, I was truly impressed with the service that I got at 409. It was wonderful. From the moment we arrived and were asked to take our jackets to the moment we left, everyone and I mean EVERYONE was so pleasant and attentive. We felt taken care of and had a wonderful meal. “Je suis allée rejoindre des amis sur un coup de tête hier soir (jeudi le 26/06/2025) au resto pub. Le serveur était sympathique et extrêmement professionnel. Bonne sélection de bière et un menu surprenant (steaks). J’ai commandé l’entrecôte medium saignant avec les carottes sauce moutarde à l’érable et les frites parmesan/truffe. Le steak bien assaisonné était plus du côté saignant, mais savoureux, surtout avec la sauce qui l’accompagnait. Les carottes… meilleurs que j’ai mangé, les frites méritaient le « hype ». Très bon repas. Pour dessert, j’ai pris un old fashioned, très bon. J’ai passé un petit moment de bonheur avec de bons amis, et c’est ce à quoi on s’attends quand on va au restaurant. Je recommande au plus haut point.“

“pas de grande diversité côté nourriture. nous y sommes allés hier pour mon anniversaire et le dj qui était responsable de la soirée a fait vider la place à 23h45. même beat toute la soirée, gros techno qui ne permet pas tant de danser, toujours le même beat. Nous sommes partis vers 12h10, il n'y avait plus personne. je suis assez déçue 😭 surtout que nous avions acheter un pichet pour le restant de la soirée et que nous n'avons même pas pu le finir, nous n'avions plus envie d'être là. par contre le décor et le staff étaient merveilleux.“

“The venue was great on a Friday night + the DJ was amazing, playing all of our favourite 80's dance music! My Chicken Caesar Wrap w/Sweet Potatoes was excellent. A lot more sweet potatoes than I was expecting too, which was good. Usually all you get is a small handful of sweet potatoes. This was worth the upcharge. However, my husband's cheeseburger was a little small, looked like a kid's burger. He said it was delicious though.“
