“Fantastic experience at NYKS in Montreal. The vibe was relaxed and inviting, service was absolutely superb, and every dish delivered. The four cheese French onion soup was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. The NYKS classic poutine was exactly what you’d want—crispy fries, savory gravy, and perfectly melty cheese curds. The duck confit poutine took it to another level—decadent, flavorful, and worth every bite. Would absolutely come back next time I’m in Montreal.“

“These were certainly isolated cases, but on 3 occasions (2x in a row), our $2 on the edge of the pool table was stolen from us by troublemakers who were most likely only looking for trouble. Otherwise the staff is very endearing, willing, patient and smiling and the meetings are good.“

“Vraiment bon !!!! Nous sommes partis de Repentigny pour aller le chercher , malgré la route de plus de 30 min , la nourriture était encore chaude et le service au take-out a été très rapide !!!! Bien hâte de l’essayer en resto direct 🥰🥰“

The staff was very friendly, the service was super quick despite the restaurant having a lot of customers.
I got the chicken souvlaki, it was super tender. The tzatziki sauce was great, rice was well seasoned and the salad was fresh!“

“Had an amazing experience at Rustik Sunday night thanks to the bartender with curly hair! Always so attentive and helpful and you can tell everyone loves her! I often avoid this place on the nights that the Asian looking lady with glasses works as she’s very rude and aggressive and seems to hate everyone in the world and will avoid giving back change by any means necessary assuming she deserves a 30% tip“

“I spent three nights in Montreal and ended up at Les Torches three times. That probably says it all. Once for dinner and twice just to come back for drinks and friendly vibe. The first night, the three of us ordered burgers, I had the double cheese smashburger and it was outstanding. Fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavour. You can tell they care about quality and consistency.
The atmosphere is lively and comfortable without feeling pretentious. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and actually enjoy your meal, whether you’re on your own or with friends. The decor and lighting make it feel modern but still welcoming, and even when the place was full, it never felt chaotic or rushed.
What really stood out was the service. Truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a long time. The staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating, even during the dinner rush. You can feel that they enjoy what they do, and that energy carries through the whole place.
Les Torches is one of those rare spots that gets everything right: great food, great people, and a great vibe. Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Montreal. Highly recommend!“

“Walked in here not knowing a thing about the place. The manager/bartender Raphael served me like a king and gave me a night to remember! It was Friday and pints were ONLY 2 DOLLARS and I got delicious wings in homemade sauce for only 5 bucks! Also, they were playing hard rock and metal all night which is exactly what I was looking for. What a sick place! It's definitely my new hangout spot ????“

“Restaurant located inside the hotel Universel. There’s an outdoor patio. Can get very busy on sporting event nights. Highly recommend reservations if coming during events. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Gluten-free free items are limited but they do offer GF pasta and GF bread for breakfast. Plates are plentiful.“

“This review is based on Thursday afternoon of Grand Prix weekend. Got seated on upper balcony right away. It was packed. Drank only beer. Never eat here because there's better places to eat in Montreal. Great overlook of Crescent St activities. Been here at night in the distant past with no problems but the weekend is way more crowded now.“

“We were there for their New Year's Eve party and it was great value for the money. 240 people in attendance and we hardly waited to get our food. 7 services were served, music and dancing... Awesome night. Highly recommend this place for weekend brunch. They also have weekday specials at night which are very much worth checking out.“

“Claudio is super welcoming and staff are friendly! The smash burger is amazing and the price is great! They have big tvs for games. Interior decor could be nicer, but there is a nice charm to the place. Def. Recommend for a coffee and quick bite to eat!“
