“We loved the food, ambiance and service. Pasta dish is 10/10. *Please be prepared to spend $100pp especially if ordering meat per gram. We ordered 400gr contrefilet = $89 to share ... but worth it. Beautifully served au jus ans swiss chard veggies. Alos to note fries are more like roasted potatoes wedges. Overall still a fave of mine as a local resto in my neighborhood. Looking forward to going back again soon.“

“Visited this spot on October 2025 — Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly management despite a rough first impression at the counter.
Food: The sandwiches and fries were delicious, with generous portions — definitely worth it!
Service: Unfortunately, the “younger” cashier / barista seemed quite rude and uninterested. When we asked about our missing fries halfway through the meal, he simply said “I know,” which felt dismissive. Luckily, what seemed to be the manager was much friendlier and welcoming — smiling, attentive, and much easier to approach.
Atmosphere: Cozy and pleasant vibe, although there aren’t many tables — more bar-style seating. Still, a nice spot to sit down and enjoy a good lunch.
Overall, despite the initial service hiccup, we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be coming back!“

“I am embarrassingly fussy about my coffee and truthfully not that many cafes can pull a decent espresso. I am super addicted to this place… like a junk I crawl in every day I’m in town to get my fix, usually 3 in a row while I have my cigarillo on the steps with the fientes d’oiseaux … not even that can put me off.

“We celebrated a special event at Donato's on a regular Tuesday afternoon for lunch. We had an exquisite and memorable experience. The table d'hote had so many offerings at unbeatable prices. Every dish was served to perfection and our party of 4 agreed that there was nothing missing or lacking from this experience. Many thanks Tony for offering champagne on the house as we celebrated our daughter's graduation from Concordia. We WILL be back!“

“This is an Italian restaurant where the chef is always ready to help you. If you need guidance, they’ll make sure you can find the exact pizza or pasta that matches your taste, and you can also request any changes you’d like to your dish. I think the steak pizza I ordered could have been better, but the alldress pizza was really delicious with a great flavor. Overall, because of the spacious and beautiful atmosphere, I believe this place is definitely worth a visit.“

“Although listed as Italian, I would be more inclined to call the menu primarily Persian. Well prepared plate with reasonable portions.
The eggplant is pleasantly not excessively oily as is found in most other Persian restaurants.“

“Un immense merci à Martin et toute son équipe pour le service exceptionnel lors des 60 ans de notre mère. Servir 75 personnes en même temps, ce n’est pas une mince affaire — et vous avez relevé le défi haut la main ! Dès la première rencontre avec Martin pour planifier la soirée, tout a été A1 : à l’écoute, de bons conseils, et toujours soucieux que tout le monde soit satisfait. Le choix du menu était excellent, et en plus, on a mangé chaud… wow, merci ! Les serveurs ont été d’une gentillesse remarquable. Le fait que les enfants soient servis en premier, j’ai trouvé ça vraiment attentionné. Demain matin, je recommencerais sans hésiter. Bravo et encore merci !“

“Montréal à table à la Terasse du W Un mousseux "Crément d'alsace" pour accompagner mes "Crevettes et sorbet au cari": Crevettes marinées et grillées façon thaï (5), sorbet cari coco, lime, coriandre. Mon appréciation: crevette sucrée et piquante adouci par le sorbet rafraîchissant et gouteux, un délice. Un vin blanc "Sancerre" avec Tostadas à la pieuvre grillée (3) Pico de gallo, crème d’avocats, oignons marinés à l’hibiscus, piment chili, laitue et tomates. Mon appréciation: la pieuvre d'une belle tendretée, le tout excellent avec l'ajout de jus de lime. Sans la lime, on goûte bien l'oignon qui est sucré. Panna cotta au chocolat et au rhum Mousse de litchi: on goûte le amer du chocolat, le sucrée de la mousse de litchie équilibre l'assiette pour la gardée fraîche en bouche. Les boules croustillantes ajoute de la texture au plat. Excusez ma fin de rhume pour ne pas avoir goûté au rhum. Ambiance musical style lounge avec une touche qui donne envie de danser aux gens comme moi qui ont le beat dans le sang. Et que dire du service, ils m'ont mise à l'aise toute suite, moi qui va au restaurant seule, je me sentais comme une reine. J'ai pu goûter à different vin pour choisir celui qui me plaît. C'est agréable d'être certain de boire ce qu'on apprécie. Parfois, la barmaid savait plus que moi si j'appréciais le vin. Merci de m'avoir permis d'en goûter un autre.“

“I am not one to usually write reviews, but let me tell you Sauce deserves it ! ✨ We'd heard good things from friends and went with our little group to experience the restaurant ourselves. Some of us had wine (they have a vast selection) and others cocktails. I had the Purple Rain and totally recommend it !! The food was amazing and so so TASTY ! We shared appetizers and mains. Portions are perfect for sharing if you want to taste more than one thing on their menu. The calamari was so fresh and my favorite starter and loved loooved the Branzino 🐟 ! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive !! The Chef even sent bigger desert portions knowing we were a group so we could all have a good taste of everything ! They even offered us Limoncello to finish the evening. To add to our beautiful experience, the restaurant's ambiance is welcoming and warm, the decorations are so well-thought and curated, and so was the music. I totally recommend 🍝✨👏🏼 !!!“

“I had another amazing meal at La Piazzetta Candiac! I ordered the escargots gratinés with camembert and the sausage and prosciutto roll — both were absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly, and our server was always smiling and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and casual, which makes it such a comfortable place to enjoy a great meal. I go there regularly, and the food and service are always excellent.“

“We passed by on the day they had their free pizzas, it was chaos! So I would assume it would be the worst day for quality and service, however the service was good and the pizza was solid. I'm very picky with pizza, as I was a pizzaiola but I'm not expecting a Napolitan or New York slice style pizza. It's a 2for1 pizza and it is SOLID! Good quality toppings, nice dough, balanced sauce. Plus they have a variety of options and a good selection of cheap salads as well.
I think it's a very well-rounded place and I hope they do well 🏳️🌈❤️“
