About Restaurant La Bohème | St Sauveur

Restaurant La Bohème is a quaint, cozy restaurant on the main street in Saint-Sauveur with a unique sign and intimate seating. It offers a fancy dining experience. The food is genuinely delicious, very good, and excellent. Specific standout dishes include the must-try gnocchi, a phenomenal Caesar salad, the best French onion soup, a superb Duck Confit, and a very good rack of lamb. Portion sizes are good and will not leave you hungry.

The service receives mixed reviews. Some found it spectacular, fantastic, accommodating, and very nice. However, other experiences noted slow service, with long waits for menus and meals, and staff that appeared to need more waiters. Some felt rushed during ordering or to leave, were never offered coffee or dessert, and had issues with forgotten meals, missing entrees, and having to ask for basic items. The atmosphere is cozy and like a hidden gem, though some note the playing of elevator music.

It is considered a pricey restaurant. Overall, it is described as a great restaurant and the best dining experience in the area by some, though service inconsistencies can impact the visit.

Had a family dinner at this quaint little restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The food was genuinely delicious, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like a hidden gem.
I’m not sure why it wasn’t busier, because the quality was there.
If you go, the gnocchi is a must‑try.

We have been to the area the last 2 years and this by far was the best dining experience we have had. Personally it may be the best I have ever had. The unique sign out front caught my eye, nice intimate seating inside. We speak very little French but the service was fantastic and accommodating. I had the French Onion soup to start and it was the best I’ve ever had, perfect starting portion. I also had a bite of my girlfriend’s Caesar salad and the dressing and croutons were...read full review
