“Nice restaurant with comfort food and an incredible view even from the inside thanks to the large glass doors. The Le Petit Château poutine is exceptional in our opinion, but all the dishes tried were good and the portions are generous. We appreciated the cloth tablecloths and napkins and the pitcher of water on the table. Dining room only open 3 days a week, at least in winter. We had three very good visits in the last year (adult group job party, family group dinner, quiet dinner for 3).
Parking: Some pitches directly in front.
Kid-friendliness: Booster seat.

“So I was on a quest for this legendary drink, the “Golden Idol.” Supposedly it gives you this feeling of like, total bliss if your brave enough to drink it, and it led me to a place that people only talk about in whispers: The Serpent’s Kiss.
Getting there was a whole thing. I had to cross the Îles aux tourtes bridge over a treacherous river, and then fight through the downtown Saint Lazare jungle where honking cars are like the war cries of some forgotten tribe.
The entrance was super low-key, just this little carving of a snake eating its own tail. Inside, the air was thick with the smell of spices and old booze, it was really cool. The lighting was all moody and made these long shadows dance on the walls, and they had artifacts from all over the place. I was half expecting a poison dart to shoot out of the wall or something. Behind the bar was this guy who could only be the high priest of the place, he had a grizzled beard and these eyes that looked like they'd seen a thousand happy hours. He was polishing a glass like it was a sacred relic.
“I seek the Golden Idol,” I said, my voice was barely a whisper.
The bartenders eyes narrowed. “Many have sought it,” he rumbled, his voice like rocks grinding together. “Few have been worthy.” He then gave me a bunch of trials. First, I had to figure out a menu full of riddles. Then I had to pick the right glass from a whole bunch of chalices and goblets and tiki mugs. Any one of them could have been like, a poison cup or something. I chose… wisely.
Making the drink was a whole ritual. The bartender moved with this real precise, almost mystical grace, he was combining rare liquors from unlabeled bottles and muttering stuff in a language I didn’t know, and garnishing it with a plant I'm pretty sure is extinct. The final thing was this glowing, golden drink that practically hummed with its own energy.
I took a sip. Woww. The world just dissolved into flavor. It was like they opened the Ark of the Covenant, but instead of melting my face off it just melted away all my anxiety. I felt total euphoria, invincible even. I understood the secrets of the universe, I probably could have outrun that giant boulder..But the moment didnt last long. Out of the corner of my eye I see this other adventurer dude, wearing a cheap fedora, eyeing my drink with some serious jealousy. I knew I had to get out of there. I grabbed my precious drink and made a run for it, dodging a flying peanut and just barely missing a swinging light. I burst out into the night with the taste of victory and aged rum on my lips.
The Serpent’s Kiss is not for the faint of heart, its a perilous journey. But for those brave enough to face the trials, the reward is definately worth it. Five stars. Just make sure you bring a whip.“

“It was a Christmas Dinner and as such the restaurant was packed. Service was slow as a result. Not the fault of the waitresses, they were rushing about as fast as they can. Management should have foreseen this and hired one or two more staff. Food was decidedly different. Not purely Italian pasta or pizza...I can't place it, but I was just in Lake Como and Milan last week, and food did not taste like this.“

“Had a great time at Annie’s sur le lac with my friends! We ordered a couple of drinks, a veg burger, fish tacos, fish & chips, and the chicken wings (Diablo) — hands down the best for spice lovers. The flavor and heat were just perfect! Food came out fresh, portions were generous, and the lakeside vibe made it even better. Definitely a spot worth visiting with friends.“
“Very nice inside - with different sections for different moods. It also has a long bar where you can talk to just about anyone, it has a great area for quiet conversation and at the same time, it has sections for bigger groups. It offers dart leagues as well and a pool table. It is very clean, well set up with a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere.“

“What a find! The staff here is like visiting old friends whom you haven't seen in years. The ambiance and decor bring you to a world far away from the quaint streets of Hudson. The manager Chelsea was extremely professional and shook up quite lovely beverages for me and my wife. We had the pleasure to sit at the bar and watch the place fill up. Soon enough, we were sharing stories with our bar seating patrons and laughing it up with the staff. Five stars are all well-deserved! Our heartiest, thanks to see you soon!“

“I've been going to Doolys for a long time now (more than 15 years). The tables are always on point and clean, cues on point, staff on point, always polite. Also, I know the owner because I've seen him over the years, Luc Salvas, he's a professional pool player. Anyways, always great times at doolys Valleyfield, super nice place.“

“We went for lunch October 28th and when we arrived, there was only two other tables. Quickly after we arrived, the restaurant filled up! The waitress was alone! Even then, she never stop smiling and she gave us an excellent service!
