About Poutine Lafleur

Poutine Lafleur is an old-school snack bar with a nouveau-retro decor, known for its tasty poutine. The dish features abundant fresh cheese curds, double-crisped fries, and a flavorful sauce. The fries are cooked perfectly at the moment, nappe with the proper sauce, and covered with a generous dump of squeaky cheese curd, making it one of the most legitimate OG Poutines available in Montreal. The restaurant also offers hot dogs with various toppings, such as chopped onion and cabbage. Customers often find the service friendly, with staff members who are funny and crack jokes. The atmosphere is clean and cozy, although some reviews mention that the place can be a little dirty and the food is quite average for a snack. Parking can be challenging when Wellington Street is closed in the summer. The location is wheelchair accessible, but the door is not automated. Prices remain reasonable, with a meal costing around CAD 14.50.

I had the chicken hot dog today at Poutine Lafleur! The price of $2.30 is affordable for students and professionals alike. The location is about 8 minutes walk from De Eglise metro station. The location is convenient and located near verdun Beach. The staff is friendly. A good budget brunch option for students in Verdun.

Amazing poutine! Fresh cheese curds, crispy fries, and delicious gravy every time. Great service and a classic Quebec atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Verdun!

One of the best classic poutines in Montreal! The fries are perfectly cooked, the cheese curds are fresh and squeaky, and the gravy has that authentic homemade taste that brings everything together. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the food is always satisfying.

What really makes this place special is that it has kept that old-school Quebec snack bar feel while consistently serving quality food. The hot dogs are great too, and the service is friendly...read full review
