Chef Andrea explained every step fully and included some of the fascinating science behind turning sugar, eggs, and cream into the most delicious ice cream you will ever have. It was an incredible experience that is now a treasured family memory.

I attended a second class with my two adult grandsons and their wives this weekend and had another amazing experience that was just as special as the first. The staff went out of their way to create a memorable experience that goes beyond just making ice cream. They are warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. And we made five different flavor ice creams including to two that were vegan and they were all outstanding and delicious. I will go back again!!!!“

“Took my toddler here Monday and my only regret with coming here is that we’ve lived in North Smithfield for several years and this was our first time coming! My son (almost 3) loved seeing the cows and trucks that were set up there. We went inside to get a snack and he started having a mini meltdown because he wanted to go back outside. An employee (wish I got her name) came from behind the register and gave him a couple stickers and told me I was doing a great job, which really means a lot when you feel like you’re doing something wrong as a mom. I appreciate that woman more than she realized! 💕 I ordered a cream puff and 2 chocolate chip cookies. When the employee from behind the counter handed me my box she let me know she gave us an extra cookie! The employees really were amazing. My son loved his cookie, and I’ve been dreaming of that cream puff ever since 🤤 we can’t wait to come back and try the ice cream! Great snacks and even greater employees! Thank you for a great day!“

“This is a great little Latin and Japanese fusion ice cream shop. The fish shaped cones with a treat at the bottom are delicious on their own. “I have been coming to Dairy King since the late 90s and it’s my favorite ice cream shop in Providence. They now allow credit card payments and have updated their exterior with new decor and more seating areas. Prices are very reasonable and the milkshakes are some of the best around.“

“Just went to Sweet & Sour Bar for the first time and got a Strawberry Mango Smoothie and it was absolutely delicious. The rest of my family got something and it was super reasonably priced. If you’re at the mall in Emerald Square Mall I suggest checking them out. They are on the 1st floor in the middle!“

Out of all of the places I have been to eat Sundaes Cranston has gone above and beyond to ensure no exposure to tree nuts. “Went to the shack today, and it was a really nice experience! I love what Alex and his team have done with the place! The ice cream flavors and variety of toppings are very good. The lemonade beats Del’s by a mile! If you’re lucky, you might catch one of their trucks leaving or pulling up. Haven’t gone yet for the live music and entertainment. But this shack is a good option if you’re not able to catch one of their trucks around RI / MA. Stop by!“

“Fairly brisk though often a wait to order, and to get order, but plenty of seating and even swing benches available to pass the time & to enjoy your ice cream. Very limited dairy-free options (one DF ice cream, Dole Whip, Italian Ices) so be forewarned for the lactic enzyme lacking. Careful as parking lot is right near seating, but otherwise perfect for kids. Fun inflatables, theme music and good vibes. Closed for the 2025 season, yesterday, November 2nd.“
