“There is never a dull moment at the tavern. I’ve been frequenting this place for over 10 years at this point. They have an incredible blues jam on Sundays with the hottest house band in town. It’s been going on for nearly 20 years. A good friend of mine hosts the open mic on Thursday nights, and they have a great format you can play as a solo artist or you can do an open jam. They have a very affordable wing special on Wednesdays. The atmosphere is lively and fun. I’ve made friends with some of the regulars. Some of them have been coming to the same bar for 50 years. The owner Robyn is very friendly and hard-working. Her whole family is invested in the business and I really appreciate that, having worked in the service industry for a long time. What are you waiting for? Go down to the roadhouse!”

I have never been disappointed in anythingI’ve gotten off their menu, but I have to say tonight I ordered a large pizza, pepperoni, sausage, onions, and mushrooms, and in all honesty it was the best pizza I have ever had and that includes Pizza. I have gotten from Federal Hill. To whoever made my pizza tonight fantastic job.”

I can't overstate how apparent the love and care that is put into everything this bakery makes! We devoured so much food, and everything was absolutely delicious. The main course (which I didn’t get to photograph) was generously portioned. The appetizers were also fantastic, and the desserts were a sweet finish. The oysters, which I had for the first time, were huge and incredibly good. I highly recommend it, whether you’re dining with family, friends, or on a date, if you’re a fan of authentic Italian cuisine.”
