“The service is fantastic and the food is delicious. I’m in love with the chicken and waffles! Topped with hot honey is spot on. But it’s the smiling faces and warmth that keep me coming back. Although a big old breaded and fried piece of chicken and scrumptious waffle doesn’t hurt the case. 🫶“

“I’m actually mad at myself for being too scared to try a new place because this cafe is SO cute and the food and beverages I got are SO amazing! And super friendly staff. Chipotle Blt, peanut butter and chocolate latte with oat milk and dandelion tea. All of it 10/10.“

“Went on google maps looking for a little breakfast spot. Found this gem. Nothing bad to say. Crepes were a perfect balance of all ingredients. Golden Latte hit the spot. Atmosphere was the right amount of cozy and inviting blended with bright and cheerful. Definitely worth the stop.
P.S. if you look at posted menus here beforehand- there are no waffles. ;)“

“The vibe is gorgeous! Well-rounded coffee shop with attentive service.
I tried the Spanish Latte, which was great — though I didn’t taste the condensed milk until the last few sips, so up until that point, it tasted like a regular latte with (good) espresso, just no flavor. Would still order again in hopes of a better blend & try it iced!
The croissant I got was fresh, plain-and-buttery, massive, and abundant in soft flaky layers.
Their onsite merch is excellent quality too, and the aesthetic they’ve built for their shop makes it easy to want to purchase and reflect the brand.
Excited to return… perhaps on a weekend where I can try their breakfast sandwich… but the croissant bread pudding also sounds delicious… stay tuned!“

“Lovely little café me and my friends found while we were looking to pass some time. Was greeted immediately with a smile and a menu. The atmosphere was relaxed. Ordered myself the cinnamon roll (which was amazing) and an earl grey French 75. Can't wait to come back here!“

“Best coffee in town with very friendly and knowledgeable owners. You will not be disappointed. New to Providence or just visiting, enjoy a cup of coffee and get great suggestions on what to see and do. They are supporters of local artisans for all your souvenir needs. Can’t say enough good things about this place. ❤️“
“It's great to see the Xo Bar open again! It was always one of our top lounges to go to back in the early 2000s! Now its even better with the new hang out lounge area! It's so hard to find a nice place with cozy couches in RI. It has a great set up and friendly service! We will be back!!“

“The Watermark Cafe is RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) owned dining venue. Though many RISD students come here regularly, the general public seem to always drop by and enjoy toasty treats and healthy meals. The cafe serves excellent fresh sandwiches, wraps, burritos, soups, salads, fruit, local yogurt, organic smoothies, espresso drinks, fair trade coffee, and organic tea. A lot of the stuff is kept local, organic, and healthy-conscious.“
“I want to say the food is great and Tammy is a pleasant woman. She is a very hard worker and will do anything for the customers. The other woman I feel like she just seats around.“

“Stopped by for RI Food Fights, got an iced coffee with caramel and oat milk. The coffee was good but the food was out of this world! I had the opportunity to try the special: rice and beans. It was so flavorful! Definitely get it before it disappears!!! The new owner was so friendly! Can’t wait to go back!“

“Neat. Excellent coffee in real ceramic mugs. Expresso served correctly, wow, haven't seen that in a long time. Glass of double expresso on a little tray, WITH a spoon AND a little glass of sparkling water WITH a lemon slice in it. Perfect. Hurrah finally expresso served correctly.“
“Healthy & Fit Nutrition is by far the best herb-a-life shake around. Tons of protein, low calorie and the taste is amazing! Not to mention the TONS of different flavors to choose from. Z, the owner, welcomes everyone with a smile, and is a friendly environment!“

“Gorgeous Brown University student-run cafe and bakery. They make fantastic coffee and tea. They make bao on Mondays and kabob and curry other days. Muffins are delicious. Overall a really good place to have a snack or a meal and enjoy with a friend or alone!“

“Prepare for the most delicious smoothie of your life! This place is run by a sweet doña with the kindest smile. The name caught me and I had to go inside. It's very bright and colorful inside and they have a ton of beverage options. They also have like 20 topping options for your drink! I will definitely going back. I am very glad that I found a banh mi place and a smoothie place on the same block!“

“The breakfast sandwich on a fresh biscuit was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in Providence! I'd recommend that you pay the extra $2.00 for the biscuit upgrade and not skimp; it makes a big difference. My friend ordered the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin and it was good, but not quite as good as on the biscuit. The coffee here is also excellent. If you're planning to stay at the cafe, you should know that it can be tough to get a table. A lot of customers seem to study or work here for extended periods, so tables only infrequently become available. I'd recommend ordering your food and drink to go by default whenever you visit; you can always nab a table if you're lucky enough to have one become available while you wait for your order.“

“I have been coming since I was a baby with my parents. The food is excellent. I absolutely love the blueberry pancakes! The staff were quite nice and respectful! Some people have put bad reviews, but do not believe them because this restaurant is the BEST!I would recommend if you wanted to have a nice lunch or breakfast in the east side!“
“If you haven't been yet, go, go now! My co-worker goes pretty much every morning, I wanted him to see that he was missing out on the best part of the day, so I took him for lunch. The Cubano is the best in the city (I lived on Second Street in Miami so I know how amazing a Cubano can be, this variation is a party on your tongue!) We washed it down with one of their many amazing refreshers (seriously they are all delicious so it doesn't matter which one you get, start at the top and order a different one each time, you won't be disappointed, think "healthy alternative to Red Bull, but delicious" then prepare to be in love and addicted). The atmosphere and the service will have you coming back again and again. Bring a book, the work you should have finished, a friend, your daughter, but bring an appetite!“
“What an incredible unbelievable experience after a tough night with my two year old, I was ready for a cup of coffee in the morning, so I got into my car and I looking for a place completely oblivious that I wasn’t carrying my wallet and Harborside Café me a huge favor give me a coffee give me warm And lots of cheer and smile. “Went on Monday in the pouring rain after a day of shopping at Wrentham. What a cozy atmosphere, small but so comfortable. Then the waiter came over quickly and was attentive throughout the meal without being intrusive. Our food included Breaded Palomilla Steak, Enchilada de Camarones, and Ropa Vieja. Loved the congris (rice with garlic and black beans) and plantains both salty and sweet. The flan, shared for dessert was the just right ending. I wish we lived closer because we would be there often!“

“This is a great little Latin and Japanese fusion ice cream shop. The fish shaped cones with a treat at the bottom are delicious on their own. I had custard in mine with chocolates ice cream, dulce de leche over the top and covered in coconut. Absolutely delicious! My foodie friend introduced me. They definitely enjoyed theirs! Thank you!“

“I meet with my brother and sister-in-law for lunch once a month, and the Rhody Hen Cafe has become our go-to place for the past 3 months. We've tried both breakfast and lunch items, and have been happy with all our choices. They make the best blueberry pancakes ever!“
“I had an amazing experience at this cafe! The French toast sticks were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, perfectly soft inside. A huge shoutout to Charles for their incredible cooking skills. The service was also top-notch, with Miguel and Jasmine at the front of house making me feel so welcome and cared for. Highly recommend this spot for great food and friendly service!“

“Quick service, decent latte. I ordered a pretzel chocolate croissant as well - croissant was flakey and light, the pretzel/saltiness paired well with the not too sweet chocolate in a well balanced combo.
I would definitely stop in again and try out their other bakery items.
There is a small parking lot behind the bakery with a couple of spots as well as street parking available.“

“Wonderful place that I just stumbled upon. So cute inside with multiple options such as the cafe, restaurant, pub, and pizza station. We ate at the Cafe. Our food was absolutely delicious, especially the white clam chowder which was a special that night (it's not on the regular menu). It was one of the best I've ever had! However, our service was a bit lackluster. Our waitress was very nice but she was definitely distracted or scatterbrained. We did not receive our soup and salads before the meal as we were supposed to. Some meals came out before others. The vegetable wasn't available that we ordered but she didn't tell us until the plates were put in front of us with different sides. The drinks did not come out when they should have, etc. However the food was so good and we loved the ambiance so much, that I will go back and give it another shot.“

“By far the best coffee shop I’ve found. The eggnog latte was - words cannot describe it. I’d marry it. I’d drink it year round. The lavender honey is also amazing. The people are as fabulous as the coffee, if that’s possible. ☕️❤️“
