“It is what it is! If you're looking for a dive bar full of good folks unwinding after a long work day, this is your place. Went on a cold winter's night when the tourists were long gone. The bartender Lorrie was friendly and fun like your friends cool mom. 80's songs on the play list. Have a beer and watch the local news. Glancing around the bar the french dip and nachos looked delicious. Pool table in the back. Good, solid, welcoming bar. Cheers!“

“Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and were seated immediately. Casual dining. We ordered the clam chowder and a couple of the fish dishes. The fish was fresh and was accompanied by choice of potatoes and fresh vegetables (baby carrots, green beans, and Brussels sprouts). We would definitely return.“

“Alex was our fabulous server. We were a table of five and then six (all from Newport) that made Alex work! We sent her back and forth I can’t even count how many times. She was patient, knowledgeable and just damn good! Everyone of us liked our meals and the drinks were great! Great night all in all.“

Lots of local new England choices.Attentive, friendly and hard working staff. Large venue by the water.My favorite flavor wings is mango habenero. Sweet and spicy. Don't rub your eyes after eating them or you'll regret it! Buffalo is weak on the spice level. BBQ is ok. Teriyaki meh.Easy street parking. The live music, friendly staff and customers , along with an overall positive vibe are the draws, along with the backyard beer garden.Recommend for those reasons, and did I mention live music Mon, Thursday eves, and Saturdays from 2-5..Sometimes "Pop--up bands occur, which is also great.“
