“Good honest food from a hard working Greek family. A must stop when we visit Newport, RI . The French toast was nice and custard like the bacon nice and crisp. The Gyro omelet was delicious the meat was fresh and moist the seasoning carried through the whole omelet the tomatoes and onions where a nice addition. The homemade Chorizo hash is a nice change from the traditional canned hash. The coffee is also quite delicious! The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is served quickly. The decor is clean and typical for a greasy spoon there are booths tables and seating at the counter.“

“My family and I vacation in Newport, Rhode Island each year. We enjoy breakfasts together during our trips and so we have tried several restaurants in the past, including the Franklin Spa. During our our visit this past week we noticed that the menu was different and there was a different vibe to the location. My suspicions were correct as we met Nick and Brittany, the new proprietors!! The food was great, lots of options and at a fair price. We enjoyed our breakfast so much that we returned the following morning to enjoy our last breakfast before returning to Philadelphia. If you are in Newport and in search of a place for Breakfast, I highly recommend the Franklin Spa. We look forward to returning in the future.“

“Amazing find for breakfast! It seems like a small mom and pop restaurant, very limited seating. The service was some of the best I've had! The food was quick and very good. Even prices were way below what I would expect in a tourist area! Kind of disappointed in the Hunts not Heinz ketchup, but I'll live! This place is worth a stop for sure!“

“TLDR: Good Food, Good Price, Quick Service. Came here for lunch, lovely diner ambiance and great service. Food: -Portuguese Omlette: 4/5- Good amounts of chourico sausage, 3 eggs with peppers and cheese. Overall a solid omlette with fries and toast. -Chicken Pot Pie: 5/5- Very large portion, super flaky 'crust' chunk resting in the amazing pot pie filling.“
