I've been going to Aunt Carrie's for 60+ years. We would fill half of the back room with family from near and far for years. I guess you can call it tradition.We were impressed with the new paint at the takeout area. Our go-to is a dozen clam cakes (crispy on the outside, soft, and plenty of clams in the inside) A bowl of RHODE ISLAND CHOWDER ( we are locals ) whole belly clams, banana cream pie and Indian Pudding!Delicious ? We will go back a few times during the season.
Went there on last day of vacation. No wait staff....no big deal. But, unfriendly, and the food was not good. Not the norm. Clam cakes had burnt chunks of something in them. Seafood box was over cooked. Clam strips were so overcooked, burnt and crispy. Scallops, hard and chewy. Fish was old and fishy, or something. Will likely never return. Wasted $70.

Aunt Carries is our favorite place to go for seafood. I started going here when I was 5 with my family. We have been going here for years. The menu is plentiful to serve everyone's love with dessert to follow if you choose. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is so pretty, looking out by the ocean if you choose to sit outside or in. Service is fast and employees are pleasant. Aunt Carries Ice Cream is across the street. We always walk over after our meal. Delicious.
