“Ate here on Easter Sunday. Only place open on the island! What a great place! Friendly staff, awesome food, so glad we were able to get here before the crowds start rolling in. Highly recommend stopping in. I know we’ll be back!!”

“You come here for the good times and to cut bait from the influencer crowds and social butterflies looking for a backdrop. Good food, good for kids good for good times, music, entertainment, off the grid, locals experience. Flipz, tanks, shorts, shoes, shirts, no problem, just smile and have fun with others. You'll be glad you stopped by. Great wings, Nara on Tap. And a nice list of other things.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome, although it can get a little wild at times later in the evenings, but typically all safe and fun.

“Flew in with a friend for lunch. Business was brisk and we waitlisted for a bit. A spot at the bar opened up and we dined there.

I had the Patty melt with fries. I ordered it medium rare and it came well. It was quite tasty nonetheless. My partner ordered the turkey club with chips….it came out with fires. He enjoyed those as well. :). Zoe kept use loaded with ample ice tea. A good time was had :)”

“I love this place. Each time I am in BI I eat here. On my last visit I had an amazing lobster. Photo in comments. Waitress was nice and had a good sense of humor. Was happy to eat outdoors with a nice breeze.”

“We went to The Spring House for our 25th wedding anniversary. This was the best vacation we have ever had. The hotel is amazing. We had a corner room facing the ocean and the view was perfect. We loved sitting on the lawn in the white Adirondack chairs. The view was spectacular, the live piano music was wonderful and it was great that you could order drinks and food from your chair. The food and staff was also great. We had the same waitress for two of our dinners and she was amazing her name is Kacey. She made our dining experience very enjoyable. We highly recommended The Spring House and we plan on going again.”

“One one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The oysters Thermidor were to die for. Wasn’t as hungry as I wish I had been given how good the food was but I ordered the Sicilian clams with a side of pasta and that was also perfection. Service also outstanding. Two hours to get there and two hours back and totally worth it. Don’t miss this one.”

“We had a great time at the September Block Island Pride Drag Party that was hosted here! There was enough space to dance on the dance floor. It was convenient to have both indoor and outdoor bars. Finally, there were self-serve water stations at both bars, which was a superb idea.”

“Place was great. They took our order fast and we’re very friendly. Our coffees came out in less than a few minutes and then the sandwiches were pretty soon thereafter and they were very good only critique on the sandwiches is that they toast the bagel a little more”

“Great outdoor bar. Right near one of the places where the boats dock.This is more towards The Oar which is on the other side of the island. A good couple mile walk from the center of town.”

“After a long day of bike riding the island, there is nothing like some good comfort food. Food was great, atmosphere was great. Family of 4, had a great time. Bar drinks were on point. Our server Riley was awesome!”

“This is a fun spot right on the harbor front in New Shoreham on Block Island. The pastries are made fresh on site every morning. I had a raspberry tart that was delicious and made me want a second one.

Coffee was very good and the service was fast and friendly.

I didn’t get to try the hot items on the menu but everything looked and smelled yummy.

If the weather is nice you can sit outside and watch the boats and people come and go. I’ll be back!”

“Easily the best meal our family enjoyed on Block Island. The food is always fresh, delicious, and the service is always top notch. Good food for the kids and everything is super affordable with big portions. Highly recommend the sushi rolls with a big plate of tiger tots for the table.”

“We tried the casual outdoor part of the restaurant. All outdoor seating no table service and a limited menu. But they do have lobster rolls. Quite casual. The food was ordinary but OK. Service was reasonably quick and friendly. The price was very high but that is common in the very touristy part of Block Island.”
