Amazing food!!! Came here on a food tour with “Rhode Island Red food tours” and our amazing tour guide Jack, and had the jerk chicken and fried plantains, 10/10! Jack gave us the history of the establishment which was so neat to learn about. This food is fantastic and couldn’t be any more authentic! Definitely worth a stop if you are in Newport!!
Went over to this restaurant this past weekend as I was in Newport for a wedding. Saw there was a Jamaican spot and being half Jamaican myself, instantly began craving oxtail. The staff were kind, attentive and more importantly, the oxtail was tender, flavorful and a large portion. I would take family there in a heartbeat next time I'm in town!
We had a delicious, fresh breakfast with the freshest, cold fruit salad we've ever enjoyed at a restaurant! Professional, friendly, polite wait staff and owner. Thanks very much, looking forward to our next visit at this incredibly clean establishment!
