Great time at Jo's on a very hot summer night; restaurant temperature was very comfortable despite 98 degrees outside. Reservations recommended even on a Wednesday night -- the place was full. Service was friendly and efficient despite the large crowd; orders taken promptly and drinks/bread/meal delivered quickly. No rush to move us out, so a leisurely dinner instead of just a meal. Delicious food and service! I had the flounder with mashed potatoes and asparagus which was so good! My husband had the roast cod which was also excellent! For an appetizer we shared the hummus platter with fresh veggies and pita. Everything was great! No room for dessert.
Not the usual great experience. The timing was off. Ordered wine and beer, which didn't come for 25 minutes. 10 minutes before the drinks arrived, the soup was served. We said, no, we haven't gotten our drinks yet, but the server just left the soup. When the drinks arrived we asked that our entrees be slowed down so we could enjoy our drinks.
