“My first time here and I love this little hidden spot! ? They have a great menu selection for soup and rice bowl. ?? My husband is on a low-carb diet and he can still find a few dishes for his liking. ? Definitely becoming another of our local favorites. #foodie #hiddengem #“
“One of my favorite restaurants in Providence. I always bring visitors here, and love trying something new each time. Favorites include the jap chae and the kimbop - they’re easily made vegetarian which is fantastic. I have never had a long wait here despite coming at busy times - they’re really on top of it!“
“It was our first time trying Nami and we will definitely be back! The service was great Julia is the best, she recommended the passion roll and the crab Rangoon, both were amazing! We also had toro & salmon nigiri and toro sashimi, 10/10. Highly recommend the passion roll and the toro“
“This was the best meal I've had in a long time. The whole experience was top notch. The dumplings in peanut sauce were absolutely amazing. The sushi was great. The fried noodles were excellent. The service was extremely friendly and quick. The drinks were good. The prices are reasonable. I will definitely be back again soon.“
“This is a great restaurant for families, dates, the bar, and get-togethers. The food is all good, not outstanding, but for the price, I cannot complain. The cook to order Hibachi is a meal and a show. It is fun to watch and participate with a group of people (strangers and known). The food is good, and the meal is entertaining. The bar is large, well-managed, and often packed. The table seating is a nice option for quiet meals using a larger menu. Sushi here is fresh and made to order. Staff is excellent, as is the service and table turnover. If you are in the mood for this type of dinner, this is an excellent option. Reservations are recommended, but NOT necessary.Parking: Even on the most crowded night, there will be easy parking in the large and free lot. The worst case is having to walk about three minutes to the door. Safe and well-lit, good-sized spaces, and right off of I-495's Franklin 140 West exit. The restaurant is about one minute and a half mile off of the highway.“
“Tried this place for the first time today. I was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be visiting again, the food was amazing, the lady gave us everything perfectly, and it's clean and beautiful in here. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.“
“acky's Galaxie and Sushi Bar is a culinary delight, offering a fusion of Asian flavors in a vibrant setting. From mouthwatering sushi rolls to flavorful stir-fries and traditional dishes, the menu caters to a variety of tastes. The sushi bar adds an exciting element, showcasing fresh and expertly crafted rolls. The restaurant's elegant ambiance and attentive service create a memorable dining experience. While prices may be higher for sushi, Jacky's Galaxie delivers exceptional quality and taste. Overall, it's a top choice for those seeking delicious Asian cuisine with a touch of sophistication“
“I would have given them 5 starts if it wasn’t for the fact that the main Chefs with the long hat wasn’t the one who cooked the food this time. This time around there was a new set of cooks cooking and they didn’t do a good job making the food. For instance, some of my sister beef was still raw and they forgot to put the teriyaki sauce on the beef and chicken teriyaki and the vegetables that are usually cooked to perfection were over cooked too. In addition to this the vegetables in the fried rice tasted like they just came out of a can, which I don’t care to much but it has never tasted that way before. At least the rice was cooked and the chicken. But like I said if it was the original chef with the top hat who usually cooks it I would have given them a 5 out of 5 stars because his food is delicious.“
“The food was soooo good! And the waitress was really nice and answered any questions we had. The hibachi chef was really fun and entertaining so we had a really great time. Service was a bit slow, so I don’t recommend coming here if you’re in a hurry. The food is amazing and not too expensive. The cocktails were soooooo good!!! We went on a Saturday night around 7:45 and the restaurant was pretty empty so we felt a little strange being there alone. It was a bit shocking that the restaurant would be so dead on a Saturday night. But other than no one there and the long wait it was amazing so we are definitely going back.“
“Found this little hidden gem on our way out of Prov on a Sunday afternoon.Ordered: Yoo Roll (45), Volcano Roll (13), & Rainbow Roll (11) also the Thai Ice TeaThe sushi was SO delicious and fresh and the presentation was beautiful. Tea was also good.Atmosphere is so simple & quiet, a relaxing place to wait for your sushi.I can see this place is busy with online/phone orders and door dash, the inside service was a bit slow, (hence the 4 stars) but once we got that delicious platter we forgot about the wait. It was worth the wait“
“Had an amazing time joe was an amazing cook very friendly very funny the plates are enormous you won’t leave hungry drinks are strong and not watered down one of the best places I’ve been in a few years waiter took a little long to come back to table but if you speak up and wave him down he comes right over all around an amazing time here HIGHLY RECOMMEND“
“I had spent the day traveling. I'm from Florida, so it was a long day. This place was the first time I had eaten all day. It was so delcious!! The place was spotless and smelled nice. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The wait time for the food wasn't long at all. I highly recommend the fried cheesecake. It was heaven in my mouth.“
