Angkor is an amazing piece of Providence history. It's been going for like 20+ years, it's owned by a spirited, hardworking family lead by a great man who has a cheerful demeanor and and a warm presence. The food is incredible too. I'm a fan of the Pad Thai even if it is seemingly to ones taste Either way the menu is filled the brim with good options, especially the medicinal soup. Come try it for your yourself! Be quick though, don't miss out while Angkor is still here.

I'll disagree with some other reviewers to say -- no, pad thai should not be a "staple" of any Thai restaurant and if "they've messed up pad thai, they've messed up the rest of the menu." In Thailand, pad thai isn't even an option on the menu. If you want a true Thai experience, you may want to do any sort of elementary research on pad thai's origins. Taste buds, rejoice!!! The Nam Yaa should really be called Love Soup because that's what comes through in every precious spoonful. A delicate and perfect balance of sweet and heat, the ambrosial broth grabs you by the heart, hugs you, and warms your soul to its core.
