great game selection but unfortunately corrupt management. rampant sexual harassment and discrimination by staff.
I love that the entry fee of $10ish covers all of the games! They have both older and newer games, so there’s plenty of options for multiple age groups. It’s mostly a college / young adult scene, though. There’s a bar upstairs & a smoking area outside. If you wanna get a taste of each game or play something specific, probably best not to come on a Friday or Sat night as it’s VERY crowded. The music is deafeningly loud at times. The women’s bathroom was relatively clean, just with very small stalls. Street parking is hard to find.
The games were awesome. However the last time we went was in the middle of summer... And they don't have any air conditioning.... I hope they update that for this upcoming summer.
Went here for a pal's birthday recently and it was awesome! I especially loved the huge amount of rhythm games and the fact they had a designated smoke area that was sheltered from the weather. Only visited the restroom once but it was very clean!
Had a blast with family, food, drinks, vintage video games and a live band! What more could you ask for?
Overwhelming, but in a good way. The bar helps. Patrons are a mixed demographic, mostly college age. Tons of games. Great pinball, classic arcade, and shooting games. You will be searched at the door and jackets/bags must be put in coat check. $12 to enter, $2 per checked item.
awesome platform fast friendly customer service and easy deposit and cash out
awesome games easy cash out love it
Went for a girls night and had the best time
Recently took my boyfriend as a surprise and he absolutely loved it! Like a kid again.
Great time out with no kids!
My gf, her friend, and I went here just last night and had a great time. You pay $7 cover each, and then all the games are free, which I felt is a pretty good deal, just remembering how much in quarters I could have spent in 2 hours as a kid in the arcade.
Drinks were very reasonably priced, about 5-10 for a beer, 10-15 for mixed drinks. There's an outside smoking area (420 friendly) and a great selection of games ranging from old classics to newer games, and a ton of pinball options.
The only drawback to this place is parking. It costs $23 at the lot next door, and street parking is ridiculously hard to find. I would suggest ubering here if possible or certainly car pooling, as the parking lot will nearly double the price of.your trip.
The parking lot did not even appear to be monitored, so I'm not sure how safe the car is there.
Service inside was okay. Bartender was very slow, probably why she's not working at the attached club. Manager (little guy) sat at the bar and read a paper and did not move for the 2.5 hrs we were there.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend going here.

First visit to Freeplay. It was overcrowded for my liking. The stairs to the upper level seemed bouncy and made me nervous. We were there for karaoke and the dance floor was super sticky prior to DJ time of the night. Pizza was ok. I personally was not a fan of this location, hoping the one they are opening in my neck of the woods will be better.
Retro games for free, $4 cover, great atmosphere and people.
Very cool place. Atari games brought me back to a simpler time….pre MOOGs. Ms Pac-Man and pinball. Good beer selection…. Entry cost well worth it.
This place is a real gem, it was fun to play games and have some beers.
Great atmosphere. The games that 80’s & 90’s kids loved growing up. Ton of fun. The only issue is some of the games were broken. Especially the hockey foosball table.
