I had their food at a catered event at Brown University. An 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. Gee Gee's food was phenomenal, especially ribs, macaroni and cheese, and corn bread. I rarely review on Google, but I felt compelled to do so today.
I can't even begin with this place seriously. The young lady ( cashier) took my wife's and I order and was completely wonderful and informative with the foods and specials. The Kool-Aid made wonderfully, chicken, seasoned to perfection. I also had a great opportunity to meet and speak with the cook. Hands down this place has my vote of great people and great food. The price for the quality of food in my opinion is worth it.
As a South Carolina native I was overjoyed to see this place and they didn’t disappoint! The prices make sense for a small business and the food was 10/10 delicious. The soul dust on the wings?!? The waffles?!? Honey the sweet tea! All of it was amazing. Is the wait kind of long? Yes, it there’s a small family staff. The food. Is. Worth. It.
