I work a block away from this location. When I went in for the first time today, I wanted to order a toast item off the menu. I was told the girl who does that is going on break and I would have to wait 30 minutes. I unfortunately had to leave because I was on a break myself. I was surprised they didn’t have anyone else who could make it. Especially during the lunch hour rush. Edit: Regarding the reply. I was there at 12:20pm. I understand everyone needs a break, but it was just bad timing.

There are a lot of coffee shops to chose from in the neighborhood, and Hazel Origin has become my go to. The coffee is good, the staff is super friendly, and they have a wide range of food options at reasonable prices. Going here always brightens my day just because the people working behind the counter are so genuinely kind. Thanks for the great customer service!

Went in for my first visit a week ago to the new Brook St. shop. No dark roast. Had only one kind of coffee (a light roast). How does a self-proclaimed premium coffee shop offer only one kind of coffee?

I went there on the very first day, and the pastries were simply fantastic. The coffee was excellent as well. Moreover, large windows make the cafe bright and welcoming. I’ll definitely be returning!

I’m so excited that Hazel Origin Coffee opened their 2nd location! It was WORTH the wait! Their Mediterranean Turkey Panini , Onion Curried & egg, coffee was so delicious ?!! I’m super satisfied with the food, service, and especially their prices! (P.S they have vegan pastries) ?super excited for that!
