About Helado Taiyaki

Helado Taiyaki offers delicious taiyaki filled with guava, Maria cookies, and soft serve like the Maria Maria. The store attracts a diverse crowd that enhances the nice atmosphere, although parking can be tough in the Federal Hill area. The flavor selection is great for everyone, featuring flavors like matcha and ube, which is rich and creamy, making it a favorite among fans. Kids love the toppings like teddy grahams and pocky sticks. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. The fish waffle cones are especially popular, especially when paired with Tres leches ice cream. Recently, the restaurant has expanded its menu to include a blend of Japanese and South American desserts, as well as drinks, making it a great spot for breakfast or a sweet treat. The seating area has been updated to look nicer, and while the ordering process is self-service, the overall experience remains enjoyable. Visitors have noted that while the taiyaki could be fresher, the desserts are still fun and customizable, making it a solid choice for those in the area.

This is a great little Latin and Japanese fusion ice cream shop. The fish shaped cones with a treat at the bottom are delicious on their own. I had custard in mine with chocolates ice cream, dulce de leche over the top and covered in coconut. Absolutely delicious! My foodie friend introduced me. They definitely enjoyed theirs! Thank you!

I went there on a Sunday afternoon right before they opened for business, and they already had a line of people waiting outside; I knew that meant that they were good. Once the doors opened, the line moved quickly.

The service (which is incredibly important to me) was very professional and friendly. The place is clean and modern, and the vibe was great.
