Maria's Cucina is a hidden gem in Providence that offers incredible food and impeccable service. The outdoor veranda provides a lovely dining experience, especially on sunny days. The appetizers like arancini and calamari with sweet/sour sauce are delicious, and the eggplant parm sandwiches are fabulous. While the veal marsala was disappointing for some, there are positive notes about the veal, with suggestions that the veal without the bone is preferred. The desserts, such as lemon olive oil cake and bread pudding, continue to impress diners.
The service is warm and attentive, making guests feel right at home. The food is outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish is delicious and beautifully presented. The ambiance is cozy, inviting, and full of charm, creating the perfect spot for a special occasion or a memorable meal. The large, well-lit on-site parking lot is a big plus.
