Maria's Cucina hosted our recent wedding reception. I made arrangements with the previous owner and was blind-sided to learn that he had sold the restaurant one month prior to our wedding. I met with new owners Raymond and Brynn and they were both outstanding. They immediately made us comfortable that they were prepared to make our wedding reception a beautiful and memorable event. I held a rehearsal dinner at Maria’s and I cannot say enough how great it was to plan with the help of Chris Spertini. He made the whole evening a success by guiding me with food choices and seating arrangement. Our server was excellent. She was extremely attentive to our guests. This will be my go-to restaurant. If you have not dined at Maria’s you are missing out.

Maria's Cucina is a charming restaurant in Providence that offers delightful dining experiences. The outdoor veranda provides a lovely setting, especially on sunny days. The appetizers, such as the popular arancini and calamari with sweet/sour sauce, are delicious. The desserts, including the lemon olive oil cake and bread pudding, continue to impress diners. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere, with a wide-open space that can get loud when busy, but the friendly and attentive staff make guests feel at home. The service is warm, and the staff goes above and beyond, as seen when a server sang Happy Anniversary and brought candles to desserts. The food is outstanding, fresh, and flavorful, clearly prepared with care, and every dish is beautifully presented. Guests enjoy the elegant yet unpretentious decor and the opportunity to learn more about the history of federal Hill from the hostesses. The large, well-lit parking lot adds to the convenience. Overall, Maria's Cucina remains a cozy, inviting spot, perfect for celebrating special occasions or enjoying a memorable meal.
