The market downstairs features many local vegan groceries that are often hard to find elsewhere. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
The menu includes a range of tasty options. The mushroom and onion quesadilla was crispy outside and cheesy inside, while the spicy cauliflower enchiladas were enjoyed despite smaller portions. The side of plantain chips was crispy and served with good sauces. The Fried Green Tomato BLT with fries and a Caesar salad was very tasty, although the fries were average and served with Heinz instead of the usual house-made condiment.
Visitors also enjoyed breakfast, such as the Sammie with shiitake bacon, which was described as very delicious. The side salad with a flavorful dressing was a pleasant surprise. The pesto pizza was excellent for takeout, and a muffin bought for a trip home remained moist and tasty 24 hours later. Many visitors find the food consistently great, with quick service and generous portions.
Plant City is completely vegan and offers both waiter service and food counter options. From the counter, alcohol must be ordered separately from the bar. Although gluten-free options are prepared separately, some guests with gluten sensitivities or coeliac disease have concerns based on reviews. Overall, it’s a place loved for its great food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere. The only downside is that Sezn is only open on certain days, which can cause confusion for those trying to make reservations.
