“Went to the Foxes Hill neighborhood in Providence to try out a Morroccan spot, but it ended up being closed. Luckily, right around the corner was Aguardente, which is a Guatamalen & Portuguese tapas restaurant. Love the interior decorations and warm welcoming vibe. We started with quejo de cabra, rellenitos, & the minha caiparinha. Then we had the batatas fritas, empanadas de pollos, polvo grelhado, & almondegas. Everything from the service to all of the dishes being seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing.“

“I have tried Nandoos in Canada, Peri Peri port in Chicago and this style of Peri Peri chicken at this place is the BEST, hands down, amazing atmosphere, clean, neat and elegant, top class customer service, the sauce selection this place has is top of the class, will highly recommend this place, and this is for the person on the counter, Tanzil, A big thank you from me and my son, for being so accommodating and allowing us to dine in, even when we were at the closing time, Keep up the great work,Lord Almighty bless you.“

“Our family of 5 came by for lunch. Joe, the owner, greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. We selected our fish and it was grilled right there for us. The salmon was SO fresh and delicious and the seafood soup blew all of us away. I am picky about my seafood and they are 6 stars out of 5! The care and pride in what they do really showed. He was so very kind and caring, a down to earth great guy. We would definitely come back again for the food and hospitality. What a gem of a place and person!!“

“The food here is ALWAYS absolutely incredible! And the people running the place (Vera and Vivi) are SO amazing, kind and welcoming. They really become family. We eat here at least once a week, sometimes twice a week! The salmon is fantastic! And the Bitoque (small steak) is DELICIOUS!“

“I don't think that I've ever left a review at any restaurant I've ever been to but when I tell you as soon as I took a bite out of their food my face lit up. this was possibly the greatest steak sandwich I've ever had and the fries were perfect. there's really nothing else to say besides the fact that the staff was the best and kept checking if we needed anything, the food and drinks came out fast too. I would come here all the time if I didn't live so far away.“

“Me and my favorite fellah had to deliver some Succys up to Cumberland this evening. Luckily the client also owns the restaurant we delivered to ? We enjoyed an amazing Portuguese feast and the BEST red sangria. Andrew had the octopus dish and I did the bisteco with a hard fried egg on top. Not pictured was the delicious shrimp Mozambique for the appetizer. Real talk, if you’re up north and want some good home cooked Potuguese dishes, hit up Restaurante Serra Da Estrela and see Paulinha Figueiredo Neves. Her mom and husband also hold it down with her in the kitchen and behind the bar. Her father is watching from heaven and he’s so proud she’s keeping the legacy going. Love you P, thanks for always treating us like royalty and filling our bellies with the most delicious foods from your family recipes.

“Churrasqueira Marques provides the best Portuguese food in Rhode Island and possibly some of the best in New England. I have never received a bad meal from here. Take my word for it, you won’t leave hungry or disappointed. The establishment is also always very clean. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.“

“This place is definitely a hidden gem. Can get busy during peak times so make sure to call as they take reservations now. If your ordering catering sized portions, the small sizes are huge. If you order the lombinhos, they will ask you if you want them fried or grilled. Most places around here won't ask, but definitely get the fried. The grilled are dry with none of that awesome brown sauce.“

“Two places to explore, the restaurant and the store. We enjoyed both! At the restaurant, hot food that one can place on plates and dine in, or use the takeout containers. We loaded up on meat, feijoada, sausage and chicken. Everything gets weighted at the end. There are plenty of tables and the restaurant is accessible. Street parking was easy.The store is smaller and one can buy brasilian supplies (even clothing) and (what we were looking for) salgadinhos.We enjoyed some hot, made fresh, but took most of the food home to eat later.Everything heated up well.Delicious!!“

“I go maybe twice a month Love their coconut shrimp it’s absolutely so worth the trip no matter where you live Friday I brought a group of friends and all the dinners were fabulous. Waitress so kind and accommodating with some questions my friends needed to know So eat and be merry if your a couple or a. Big family. “574 was a pleasant surprise. I walked in knowing nothing about the place and found out they served food. Asked for a menu and was even more surprised to see Colombian dishes,( I'm a huge fan). I ordered the signature Colombian dish, the Bandeja Paisa... it came out looking Beautiful and tasted just as good! The playing was picture perfect and every bite was a Colombian Delight! I can tell if a Latin Restaurant has good food, by the way they prepare their beans... and the beans at 574 didn't fail me. I can't wait to be in the area again, so I can come back for more!“
