Though I grew up in Glocester, I moved away many years ago. Of all the things I miss about RI, family and food are at the top of the list, with clams (fried with bellies and clam cakes) above all other foods. Omg they have the best bacon cheddar fries ever. I have had also had the cheese burger it was delicious. I love going to the shack. I am never disappointed here. You must bring cash here however because they don't take debit or creditcards.

The seafood was cooked to perfection, not undercooked or overcooked however the fries, chips and rings were undercooked and greasy. The clams are not the traditional corn flour only coating so overly crunchy for my taste. Fish is wet battered. Scallops are sautéed without a coating and again not what I was expecting.
