We recently tried the new breakfast menu, and our initial impression is that the menu is certainly ambitious, but some of the menu items We’re a *bit* on the heavy side for breakfast. Nonetheless, it’s certainly a unique experience, which seems to be what they aim for.

I highly recommend trying the breakfast items, but for some it might be a *bit* too fancy...

It’s absolutely clear that the owners of this establishment invest a profound amount of time and energy into training and MENTORING their staff and holding them to a superb standard of service and of course attention to detail.

The front of the house we staff, from the host or hostess, to the wait staff and the bussers: every single interaction is Matt with professional courtesy and in many cases accommodation. The presentation of the order is always done with precision and accuracy, which I appreciate very much.

The products: whether it’s a quick sandwich for lunch or at dinner spread out over a couple of hours, each plate is prepared again, with intensive care and of course, attention to detail.

I have been coming here since they have open, but I have recently become a regular and I have started coming in here for lunch. I’ve had the opportunity to talk with the bartenders and the various weight staff, and from what I can gather there is a very good relationship between the owners and those whom they employ. Is also clear to me that there is a great deal of time and attention devoted to their training in the maintaining of very high excellent standards of service and conduct and professionalism.

It is with great pleasure that I bestow my highest endorsement professional and dedicated staff here at chophouse grill. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the service and presentation I’m such a finally crafted product, as well as the mentoring that goes into it.

The only true recommendation that I have would be to consider tablecloths for the dinner to “soften” the room/atmosphere. I am usually in there for lunchtime, which is a quick and informal affair. Most of the tables seat four; table cloths would be a nice touch and make the setting that more intimate.

I have eaten at Thai restaurants all over the United States including some of my favorites in NYC, Houston, San Jose, Boston, and TONG TA is among the best I’ve had and it’s local!. “I originally came in unsure of what to get, and the woman at the front (Lamphone Vora Vongsa) patiently waited for me to make my choice. She didn’t rush me or walk away. When I decided to have green boba she recommended I have their taro instead. I figured that might be their specialty, so I decided to give it a try. Sure enough it was amazing 10/10!!! Their taro tea was made with coconut milk, and the bubbles were the perfect texture (not chewy at all). Additionally I decided to get the beef Teriyaki, and she added rice & vegetables, but the price was still just for the boba and beef! And when I went to go pay she politely bowed and constantly said thank you. The service was incredibly wonderful, the place was fairly clean and the food was amazing. Unfortunately, I'm a looooooong way from good after revisiting OHT. My apologies for this Swiss cheese of a review, but I hadda pull out the butcher's blade and start chopping!
...replaced with sturdy (and comfortable) wooden Adirondack chairs scattered around the patio accompanied by propane heaters. There are also several high-tops between the outdoor bar and the main building and a small stage near the firepit.
Astute individuals will have (hopefully) noticed there's been some changes made at OHT, and not necessarily for the better. [I've dumped the bits regarding the food 'cause one disappointment shouldn't color your perspective on a place you loved.... but] But I strongly believe that it's the small things that make or break somewhere that falls into the 'I Love This Place' category. And it's the small things that soured OHT for me. First, no more Anchor Porter. Sucks to be me, sigh. Second, the main menu has been trimmed, IMHO severely. Seems to be mostly chicken and barbecue items and burgers. (another sux4me 'cause I Loved the portobello dish and...) Third, and probably the last camel that broke its back due to a straw for me. The portions were smaller AND taste, texture, and technique were on holiday. Look, I am fully cognizant of the difficulties involved in acquiring certain ingredients, however, the food I got belonged under a heat-lamp in some gas, sorry, some 'service' station on the border of Nowheresville, USA. CONSISTENCY is important. If a thing is almost unrecognizable from the exact thing ordered the day before, in every sense applicable, it's highly unlikely I'd order it again.

Sadly, in the universe we currently find ourselves in, low prices mean that the item served no longer adheres to what your palate remembers. Or your brain remembers, for that matter. What I ordered and what was served was light-years from what I'd been ordering for at least a decade prior to today.“

“The fact that the Celestial Cafe folks are still going strong after the many challenges of the last few years is testament to their enduring commitment to producing quality food using locally-sourced ingredients.

One evening a year or two before Covid, about halfway through a five-hour road trip, we stopped in for an early dinner. Things were quiet and we had a chance to chat with Chef Branden Read's mom, who shared the story of how he ended up opening the establishment. To get the whole story, you'll have to stop by at a quiet time and hopefully catch him to hear it first hand, but you should be ready for disappointment, for there aren't that many quiet times these days.

Having been eating here since 2010, I can speak with the perspective of long experience when I say that the food has been consistently excellent -- creative, frequently updated and well-executed. The Baby Back Ribs (a menu staple, thank goodness) are simply superb, just falling off the bone. The cabbages in the slaw and the cucumbers served on top are home pickled, light on the vinegar and delicately sweet. The bread pudding dessert is phenomenal, but with generous portions, perhaps get a helping to go? It's still fantastic the next day, as are the left-over ribs you'll surely be taking home with you.
