“UPDATE TO MY REVIEW. I had a bad experience. I wrote a review. Victor called me the next business day to apologize and offered a full refund for my meal. I will definitely be back. I can’t say enough about the service when they realized they had a unsatisfied customer.“
“I am so happy to have this restaurant walking distance from my house. Their food is so good and their prices are very reasonable. We've been there multiple times already, and they always do a great job.Update: We just went there again, but this time, we went for dinner (since now they serve dinner as well), and everything was super delicious. The food tasted very traditional and they served us a very reasonable amount, which we were very happy about. I felt like the prices might have increased a little (that's everywhere), but it was worth it. You should definitely visit them.Kid-friendliness: It's kids friendly, but they don't have a kids menu, unfortunately.“
“I can't say enough good things about Casa Azul! The staff are some of the nicest people I've ever met, and the food is delicious. We order group catering every few months for our office of around 80 people, and Casa Azul has nailed it every single time - sometimes even on very short notice. We typically order a mix of tacos, chips and salsa, rice, black beans etc. They have plenty of vegan options which is great for the vegans in the office. Yesterday we tried the Birria tacos for the first time and wow - will absolutely be ordering more of these going forward. The owners go out of their way to be accommodating and friendly, and you can tell they're passionate about the food they're making and serving. I will continue to support Casa Azul whenever I can!“
“I used to have to their No Kingstown location in order to get authentic Mexican food. So excited that they opened up another location near Oakland Beach. Same great food. Stop on by, you won’t be disappointed. They are hard workers! Aim to please!Vegetarian options: My daughter ? is vegetarian so I can bring her here“
“I'd send my salutations to the manager Kayla. Uber Eats charged me when I cancelled my order after waiting for one hour and a half. They refused to refund me and ended the communication. I talked to Kayla and she felt very sorry for me. She restored my order without charging me for the second time and even put more food in my order for pickup. I appreciated her understanding and help.“
“Recently discovered on TooGoodtoGo app but will defiantly be going back. The portions were huge, very delicious and the staff was friendly. They have a huge selection of empanadas. I got the chicken which was very flavorful, rice and beans that weren't dry and mac salad. I also got an egg and cheese empanada and I'd like to try all of their other selections. They also had a huge selection of desserts that looked really good.“
“Poco is excellent... really great, with its own personality..The other 5-star reviews have all told the truth... but they've missed one UNIQUE Poco Loco detail! The posted menu INCLUDES TAX!!!. See my pictures. So, you save 8% that we all normally expect to pay to RI - it's like getting an 8% discount... because Poco is paying it for us!Thank you Poco Loco. Extraordinary!.P.S. I usually order their "Nude Burrito" - which is any of their custom burritos stripped-down without the wrap and served in a bowl.“
“This place is a hidden gem in Warwick. I ordered soft and hard tacos and a couple empanadas. It was all fresh and delicious. The biggest compliment of all was one of my Latin friends tasted the food and thought it was homemade instead of a restaurant. Now that’s what I call fresh and deliciousVegetarian options: I’m sure they can accommodate any one“
“I can't say I've ever had a bad experience at needle and thread. I was so happy when they announced that they would be open on Sundays because I was able to celebrate my birthday there last night (2/18). Drinks are always on point. The menu changes seasonally and I can't say I've ever had any complaints. Looking forward to my next visit!“
“I ordered a burrito, bowl, torta, and kid's quesadilla. We all loved the flavor and freshness of our food. The prices were good and the staff very friendly. I asked about giving a tip and they said they don't accept tips but had a locked box at counter to accept donations to local food bank. Worth a visit...high quality food at a good price and nice staff committed to the community.“
“Stopped here with our kids after a sports event. Staff were friendly and helpful. Everything we had was delicious and made quickly. Prices seemed on par with similar types of restaurants. $10-$15 per meal.First time having Birria tacos and they were awesome. My kids got a quesadilla and a burrito bowl and both enjoyed their meals as well.“

“The Box East Bay is a gourmet taco stand that opened in Warren, Rhode Island in June 2019. It was founded by Matthew King. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, King has 35 years of experience working for a major contract food service facility that focused on the leisure and entertainment segment. Eventually he decided that he wanted to be his own boss. King came up with an idea to develop food trailers that can convert to multiple concepts. For his first project, he intended to sling pizzas on his Italian-made wood-burning oven. His girlfriend convinced him to focus on tacos instead. King's tacos were essentially a hybrid between traditional street tacos and Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas. All tortillas are handmade by himself with a mixture of wheat flour and corn. He converted a vintage former horse trailer into a retrofitted food stand outfitted with a removable wood-burning oven. King cleared out an area on his front lawn to permanently park the trailer. The operation was dubbed "The Taco Box" when it first opened, but by July 2022 it was renamed "The Box East Bay" to reflect its growing menu. My family and I visited The Box this past August while we were driving back home from a week-long trip to Cape Cod. We stopped along the East Bay Bike Path in Warren for a bathroom break and to grab some frozen lemonades from Del's. We looked across the street, saw The Box and thought that some street tacos would make a delicious lunch. We had no idea what we were in for. The food stand is surrounded by a beautiful garden and some picnic tables for customers to sit at. We started off with a plate of "Chips & Pico with Guacamole": something quick to get our appetite going. Then my wife and I ordered the "Shrimp Taco" (wild caught Gulf of Mexico shrimp, red onion, shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime vinagreta) and "Street Corn Taco" (flame roasted corn, black beans, charred sweet mild chilies, avocado, lime garlic mayo) to share as well as a "Cheese Quesadilla" for our son. We were shocked when we received our tacos. Not only were they huge but they resembled Neapolitan pizzas more than tacos. We folded them in half and ate them like a taco. The tortillas were crunchy and charred on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. These tacos were spectacular; just busting with flavor from the fresh ingredients (some of which were grown right in the garden). We are so happy that we discovered The Box by accident and would definitely stop again the next time we find ourselves in Warren!“
