“Cowesett Inn is a nice place to go for an anniversary meal with your spouse. Maybe a business meeting with your colleagues. A quiet night out with your new date. It’s a nice place to go for a peaceful, clean, quiet and tasteful meal. This is NOT McDonalds folks. And it’s NOT a loud, wild place where people are hanging around in jeans with chains. Cowesett Inn is a bit pricy folks. It is Not your local, walk to the corner pub. It is a very clean, more ‘shirt and pants’ style of restaurant , rather than ‘shorts and flip flops’ kind of restaurant.So I went here with my friend Michael. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple drinks. The bar tenders were very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. We had a few drinks, Michael told some jokes that had several of us sitting at the bar laughing and trying to remember jokes of our own! A lot of fun. The atmosphere was very conducive to relaxing, meeting new people and even telling jokes. Soon I ordered buffalo wings for a snack. Very tasty. No complaints at all. They were placed in front of me within about five minutes or so. Delicious light snack. Michael and I continued relaxing and talking, interacting with the bar maids and other customers. After a few more drinks, we ordered our food. Again delivered quickly. I was in the mood for a BLT but the closest thing on the menu was a Turkey Club sandwich. Well… the young lady there said that she could have a BLT made even though it wasn’t on the menu! Now that’s customer service! Im sure they couldn’t do that for every kind of meal, but a BLT is basically built into a turkey club sandwich anyway. But their accommodating staff made me feel very welcome. I’ll be back here again. 5 Stars all the way around ?“

“This was our first visit and we enjoyed every aspect of our night. We were celebrating a 65th birthday and they came around with a champagne or non-alcoholic cider toast for everyone. They had a card on the table for the birthday person. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive and professional and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was lovely. Two of us had the Jerusalem artichoke soup, which was amazing. Another person had the cheeseboard and loved it, and another person had the gnocchi appetizer, and it was delicious. For meals one person had the scallop plate. Another person had the duck plate. Someone had the monkfish plate and the other person had the steak dinner. Everyone's meals perfection, and the presentation was a work of art. I would highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions.“

“Honestly, you can't go wrong here. Sure, you pay a steeper price but that price gets you quality. Quality drinks, food, service, setting, etc. I'd rather do this once twice a year than a regular spot once a week. It's just different but in a great way.“

“We dined Saturday evening to celebrate a milestone birthday of my sister. Justin was professional and friendly. Attentive without hovering, he met our every need. The food was exceptional. I had a special fish entree, but it has hard to choose from the regular menu as there are so many wonderful choices. Our only observation was that the oysters and littlenecks (raw bar appetizer) were unusually large which wasn't as appetizing as if they had been smaller. We will be back again! Thank you.“

“I've heard about this restaurant for years, but we just never ended up there until last night. What a wonderful evening celebrating my husband‘s birthday! He said the deck was the best he's ever had! It was done perfectly, and the sauce was fantastic! Everything from oysters through appetizers through entrée through dessert... And of course, drinks! Really nice evening!“
