“Hands down the best wings in Greenville. We've been eating here for 3 years and it is consistently good each time. The sauces taste homemade and the wings are cooked to perfection. The raw fries are the perfect side and I love to dip them in their ranch dressing. Even the side salads are delicious. Wings on the Run is our family's Friday night take-out favorite.“

“My husband and I died in tonight and not only was the food really good but our server Caley was excellent and very accommodating. I had ordered a drink and didn't like the way it tasted and she didn't even have me pay for it. She brought us our food and left us alone where as at other places, server are constantly hovering over. My husband is in customer service and loves that servers do not hover, but checks on you once in awhile.“

The Goat Downtown is hands-down one of my favorite places in Greenville. The bartenders—Tiffany, Kristie, Heather, Jennifer, and Jenny—are truly amazing. They’re welcoming, attentive, and make everyone feel like a regular the second they walk in. Huge shoutout as well to Melvin, the owner, for creating such a genuine, inclusive space, and to the kitchen staff for consistently great food.

This bar is open to every culture, every kind of person, and treats every customer with respect and love. When I first moved downtown Greenville, The Goat became my safe space—a place where I felt comfortable, seen, and at home.

As for negative Google reviews: most of them honestly just reflect people who don’t understand bar culture. If you’re expecting Ritz-Carlton service at a bar & grill, downtown has plenty of other restaurants that might better fit that expectation. The Goat is exactly what it’s supposed to be—fun, welcoming, real, and full of good energy.

If you want great drinks, great people, and an even better atmosphere, this is the spot. 🍻🐐“

“This is a small restaurant. Mainly takeout but they do have 1 small table. Don't let the looks of this place fool you. Some of the best restaurants are a little rough around the edges.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a sweet lady who was also the cook. We ordered 20 hot lemon pepper wings, crab angels and an egg roll. The crab angels and egg roll were okay, but the wings were really good. We will definitely be back. Good service and food.“

“We love the fired pizza here. They only make one size, and it’s perfect for two people. Plus, they’ve got tons of toppings, so everyone can find something they like.
The service here is great. We were seated immediately when we arrive even though we had a large party. The server here excellent, she was patient with the kids and got the large order out in a timely manner. All the pizzas were hot and fresh. “Was our first visit to Wesgys, and it will not be the last. The dough here is delicious and has the perfect consistency. Crunchy and yet unbelievably soft. The cheese bread was rediculously cheesey in such a good way. The toppings were generously spread across the entire pizza. They had our order done even faster than the estimated time. The lady at the front desk was very friendly. We will be back for another pizza soon.“

I have driven by Best Wings on Wade Hampton innumerable times and never stopoed. Thank goodness for Google reviews or I may never have tried it.

Multiple flavor options. Every flavor we tried was delicious and loved by all.

Also, the wings are huge.

The interior dining is a little dated, but the food is top notch.

Definitely have leftovers which is a plus. The large house special fried rice was delicious! I'd recommend adding chicken to it instead of Chiccarones just because I have sensitive teeth and they were a bit hard for me personally but other than that it was delicious. I also ordered sweet and sour chicken and a side of cream cheese wontons. Everything was hittin! I recommend the place for a quick pick up. It was a hard decision not to get some wings but I was craving Chinese food so that's what I got this go round. It was my first time trying it and it won't be my last.
