“My family ate lunch at Denny’s after church. The food was excellent. I had 2 eggs over medium and pancakes. The pancakes were perfect. Our server was Vivian. She was great. She exceeded our expectations. She bought my niece a whole box of crayons. That was really sweet. She made sure we got what we requested even as busy as she was and her attitude was amazing!! I would request her again!!“

“You can't beat O. J.'s for good down-home cooking. Yesterday I ate at the Greenville location. It and the Easley location are basically the same, The daily menu specials may vary somewhat, but both always offer the basics: fried or baked chicken, green beans, mac 'n cheese, rice and gravy or mashed potatoes, some kind of dried beans, salads, roll or cornbread, and desserts. The Greenville location's dining area is not separated from the buffet like it is in Easley, so it seems less roomy, noisier, and not as private. Service is excellent at each location. These two restaurants are owned and operated by really nice people. I highly recommend either one if you're looking for Southern cooking.“

“We had a party of 10 stop in today 4/12/2025. We waited forever to get someone to wait on us. The food was terribly disgusting The pork chop looked like it had been in water for days and it smelled sour. 3 of us ordered Grilled pork chop Mashed potatoes, cream corn, Mac and cheese were nasty. The cucumber salad was slimy. pinto beans were straight out of the can not heated up or season at all. Someone in our party ordered a tuna sandwich that took forever it was straight out of a can no season at all we got it as we were leaving My first and last trip ever to this restaurant. We spent 80.00 and didn't even eat the food. We left the food on the table. We shouldn't have paid for it but we didn't want to argue so we got up paid and left. This restaurant needs to be closed down.“

“My Husband and I just popped into Peggys Diner on our way to NC. We were greeted by a very funny gentleman who made me laugh and invited us to sit wherever we liked. The very sweet server greeted us and we placed our order which was the special of the day. The fried chicken 🍗 and hushpupies were delicious and flavorful!! My Husband had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes 🥔 and it was really wonderful and delicious. It was truly a wonderful find and we will definitely be back the next time we drive through town.“

Not to mention hotdogs and chilicheese burger plate. These people are one of last family owned and operated restaurants that I am happy to hop in the car and go. Love each and every one of them.“
