“I dined in for the first time recently and absolutely loved it. They are the closest thing you'll find in Greenville to a NJ/NY diner. If you know, you know! 😉
I got a cheeseburger and my wife got a Philly cheese steak. Both were great and made perfectly! They have a gigantic menu full of American, Italian, Greek, and Mediterranean options. And they're open late! You can eat here from 11am to 6am most days. Perfect spot to grab a bite to eat after a show at Radio Room.
Service was brisk and attentive but not overly chatty. We dined in at a mostly empty restaurant at 10pm on a Saturday night and a few other patrons came in for pickup orders. We got our food in about 15-20 minutes and it was made fresh.
The guy behind the counter with the Yankees hat took our order, brought us refills and cashed us out. He took extra time to talk to us about our experience and made sure everything was perfect. He said first impressions matter and thanked us for stopping by.
Just an FYI for anybody worried about mixed reviews... Disregard them completely. All these upset Southerners are completely wrong and don't know what they're talking about. There is a HUGE difference between southern hospitality and providing bad service. Liberty Cafe provides GREAT service, not Southern hospitality.
It's sad seeing so many reviews that should be directed to Doordash or Uber Eats instead of the restaurant as well.
