“I struggled between a 3.5 and 4 for a few reasons however I am not big on low ratings but full transparency of the experience.
Things I love: Nice Venue/Ambience, good music overhead, Happy hour drink specials, plantains were good,
The salmon and lamb chops were seasoned/glazed and cooked to perfection, portion size was good for price.
Things I didn’t like: The mash potatoes appeared to be boxed mash prepared with water. They were thin and not seasoned at all. Adding salt and pepper at the table did not suffice. The Mac and cheese consistency was amazing but was not seasoned. We did have the seafood dip which had a good flavor and good portion. After placing our order we waited so long for our food. It was less than 10 people in the establishment and it felt like we waited nearly an hour or close for our food. I would give them another chance because they were out of the eggrolls and the meat was prepared well.”

“A wonderful experience: the magnificent food, the warmth of the 1927 bungalow in which it is served, and the companionship of the owner who served it was overwhelming. The owner’s meticulous attention to detail was evident in the delicious onion chutney made with aged vinegar from apples grown on his farm. I was in Greenwood for only a few days and was lucky enough to find this gem. I will be back as often as I can.”

“We LOVE our Ernestos!! I've never been to a restaurant that feels so much like home. Everyone is so nice and welcoming!! You never have just one waiter, They all work together and help each other! The best Margaritas in town....ask for one of Brian's Peach Margaritas!! The Fish Tacos and Charro beans are my favorite too eat, but I've never had anything bad off of the menu!! I could go on and on about how wonderful Ernestos is!!”

“This was our first trip to Lake Greenwood. After some research, we decided to take our boat to Harris’ Landing for lunch. Wow! Best burgers ever!!! Actually, all of the food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. Laid back and fun! We will definitely make this a repeat trip in the future.”

“Please for the love of all things holy and tasty, don't skip this place. We tried it today and their pizza was off the charts. Ive had pizza from NYC, and Chicago and I hate to say it but The Mill House made it to my #1 spot for pizza. It was recommended by a friend to get a side of potato salad. Here I am thinking, who orders potato salad? BEST potato salad I've ever had. All restaurants fail at potato salad. They do not. Steven, our waiter was very kind and helpful. Don't miss out!!!!!! GO GET A PIZZAAAAA!!!!!”

“First time eating at The R Place. For that nice of a restaurant, and the cost to eat there, I was disappointed. My wife and I both had soups. There were very few potatoes in her soup, and the crap soup was heavy on the cheese and sherry, but not crab. I will say the bacon honey dressing is wonderful. I won't think of eating there again when dining out.”

Today, because of ease of location, I tried this location. I asked the person in the drive-thru what they liked and they gave me a recommendation. I only got a half bc I wasn't sure if I'd like it, I wish I had gotten a whole! Food was great and so was the customer service! I tried to call to let manager know what a great experience I've had but no answer. So if you see this guy at the drive-thru, thank you so much! I'll return now for sure!”

“I usually get the wing combo which is amazing but this time I wanted to try something different. The gyro was OK the meat was tender and flavorful but I wish they put a lil more in the sandwich. As you can see if the picture they give you more lettuce than anything else. The girl that served me a the counter was very plain like she didn't care to be there which I can understand she wasn't rude though.”

“Do not go to Cracker Barrel in Greenwood. When you go and you want to get the special for night they have ran out and it is only 5:30 PM. Then the service was no good. Went last weekend the cornbread was hard as a rock and that was all they had. So many restaurants in Greenwood or bad because of bad management.”

“Applebee's use to be such a nice restaurant where you could get good food. It is sad to watch it go down. It needs a good cleaning and make over. This al falls back on management and the help he or she has. The waiter we had brought the water out and had his hands on top of glass. Restaurant's close every day and I hope they can make the changes before it is to late.”
