““Aiken Fish House: Where the Flavor Hits Harder Than the Manager” It was a humid Thursday evening. The sky hung low, purple with tension. I pulled into the Aiken Fish House lot craving fried catfish and inner peace. Then—chaos. Some guy in a tank top near the entrance was yelling. Said the hush puppies was “mid.” Big mistake. Like a shadow gliding from the kitchen, the manager appeared. Calm. Confident. Apron blowing in the breeze like a battle flag. He didn’t speak. He just walked—slow motion—toward the noise. The guy kept mouthing off. And then? Boom. The manager lifted this man with the grace of a ballet dancer and the fury of Poseidon, and body-slammed him onto the hood of a 2008 Dodge Charger. Sparks flew. A flock of pigeons scattered. A child in the corner dropped his hush puppy in awe. Someone whispered, “Is that… legal?” No one answered. We were too busy watching greatness. I went inside. Ordered the fried catfish platter with a side of mac & cheese. It tasted like it had been blessed by angels and lightly uppercutted by Zeus. The sweet tea? Strong enough“

“Their steaks are hands down one of the best I have eaten. The atmosphere and service was top notch. A little pricey but for good food and great service, it's very much worth it and their serving sizes were big. You definitely will not leave hungry“

“We are frequent patrons of lunch, happy hour and dinner at Park Ave Oysters but today we stumbled upon their new weekend brunch menu! Um WOW 11-3 Saturday & Sunday, YUM! We will be back for this! As always Phillip and his team do amazing work. The chef always accommodates my wife severe gluten sensitivity and Mia saw to it I ate like a king! Go check Brunch out and visit them anytime and often. An Aiken treasure!“

“We went on 9/2/23. Our server was Imaurie. She was very professional and our food came out in a timely manner and it was fresh and hot. She took our order for everything we wanted at one time. I was definitely impressed by that because I hate waiting and I am very impatient.The endless shrimp was amazing. I loved it. I give her 5 stars for being professional“

“Our first visit was dine in...it was during the AC outage. They had lots of fans and really was not an issue. Fell for the quacamole and the cheese and beef dips. Wife had the shrimp Ceviche (loved it) and I had Carnitas with salad (forget what it was called)...also great.
Was close by yesterday, so dropped in for carry out. Everything was put together quickly and packaged nice...including plenty of chips and napkins and plastic wear. We could only eat about half and I am finishing my leftovers as I type.
Great place. Friendly. Need to try some other dishes as I noticed some interesting plates while waiting on my carry-out. Glad to have found them.“

“Although the steaks are excellent, my absolute favorite is the double cut pork chop. I consistently brag ab.out it whenever we take out of town guests there. Unlike some other restaurants I’ve bragged about and been embarrassed because the meal didn’t live up to the expectations I created, the pork chop at the Prime is always fully cooked (no pink at the bone) yet it remain succulent throughout. While some may consider the cost for a pork chop to be a bit pricey, I believe it is well worth it for what you get. Quality and quantity dictate price. In all my years of fine dining, I have never had a better (or even close) pork chop than that served at the Prime.. the portion is always sufficient for me to take the remainder home for a second meal. Service and ambiance are also noteworthy. I highly recommend.“

“I love Sakura the food is great but I have two questions for management. #1 why doesn’t the air conditioner work??? I came a few months ago and it was hot in there and I came again tonight and it was horrible. Apparently it’s been going on quite a while there were some people eating that brought there own mini fans I kid you not. I guess they are regulars. #2 the last two times I came the cook didn’t even do the usual spill. Like the volcano, the choo choo train, no jokes and both times there were young kids at the table. What’s up with that? Please address these issues.“
