7 Best Bakeries in Anderson

“If you've ever seen a bread in the grocery store that you wanted to try but just couldn't see paying $4 for it? Then this is the place to go! I always grab a couple of the Ancient Grains small loaf for $1 each. I came a few days ago to pick up a loaf 🍞 of Nature's Own Butter Bread, but they didn't have any so a grabbed a loaf of the Artesian Brioche Bread. Hubby says it's the best bread EVER! 😆😆 My weakness is bread🤫🤫🤫. I love them all. The thick slices of the Artesian Breads make for a thick sandwich. I made PB, honey & 🍌 sandwich for lunch & almost couldn't finish it because it was so big!!! If you have a sweet tooth you can find something for your taste. They have a variety of muffins, donuts, honeybuns, cinnamon rolls & snack cakes. If you want something salty, they have potato chips, tortilla chips & cheese curls. Plus, the ladies that work here now are so nice & personable.“

“The Sweetery catered for a memorial service of one of our family members and we were delighted with the food. It was delicious, varied, and perfect for our gathering. I often drop in to pick up cookies or cake, and enjoy lunch there too! Everything is always exceptionally good and always consistent. I highly recommend The Sweetery.“

“It's an affordable menu with fast service and a lot of variety, not my go-to coffee place but the coffee's actually very good despite the small selection. I don't live near Anderson but I wouldn't mind making a trip to the mall just for this place. The customer service is amazing as well as the overall esthetic. One of the few bakeries I've felt that deserves every bit of recognition they get.

“I came on the Fourth of July. I half expected them to be closed since I did not check before coming. They were closed but what I believe to be the manager or owner was inside. While my husband was shopping next door he came outside and offered me two free cookies and apologized for being closed. He was very sweet and you do not find customer service like this very often anymore. Will forever come to this crumble cookie and give them my money.“

“Made a delivery there this week, their drive is a little difficult to get a long trailer into but once your through the gate they have plenty of room, the people there were extremely pleasant and great to work with, will gladly deliver there again“

“I usually don't go here during the work week as you have to wait 15-20 for your food to go but today I decided I had time so why not. The breakfast was exceptional, boy am glad I went! The breakfast is a bit pricey but honestly you're getting fresh food made on the spot so it's worth it, give it a try!“
