Good people serving up some Great food! Larry serves up what I'm looking for; I've been in Florida too long!! this is the atmosphere, smells, tastes that I do love.Today had the chopped steak w gravy, field peas (!!awesome!!) string beans, red rice w gravy and sweet tea to wash it down. You deserve this great food; Larry and Ella deserve our business!
Absolutely awesome southern soul food!! Owner was a super friendly guy who sat and talked to me about life and his business...you have to go try the smothered pork chop and beans and okra with the chicken pilau! I'll definitely be back there soon and hopefully he does his breakfast buffet he talked about starting up!!

We were in SC for 4 days happened to notice upper room cafe oh we didn’t regret it . Real soul food fresh tasty , well deep seasoning food best fried chicken, fish , turkey wings in gravy with chicken rice , cozy atmosphere friendly staff great service I can go on best food I ate in Beaufort affordable I was gone forget the lemonade we had to buy extra to take with us to the hotel . Whenever I go back to Beaufort , SC I have to go back. The owner is very pleasant great informative...read full review
