“My son and beautiful daughter in love were married this past weekend the day after Hurricane Helene almost destroyed any chance we had of pulling off this wedding. If it had not been for all the vendors that we were blessed to have it certainly would not have happened. Jay at Midway BBQ was amazing!!!! Our venue was Arabella Farms in Sunset SC and the track from Union to the venue was treacherous. We had no power, no internet and we were running the whole thing on generators. Jay made sure that the food was delivered on time through all of that and it was delicious. We had so many compliments. I could go on and on but I will end with this. If he can pull this off in the aftermath of a hurricane just imagine what he can do for you.”

“This by far is the BEST BBQ around. you eat a bite, and then find yourself 5 tubs later still wanting more. the hash is perfect and the chicken stew is amazing, no Ritz necessary!!! Hands down the best bbq, hash & stew we've ever had!!!”

“I was skeptical at first, but the moment I was approached I felt welcomed! I was assured that the food is cooked as ordered and made fresh. I ordered the beef soup. OMG ? when I say delicious, I mean it! So much favor! My stomach have been upset and I didn't have a taste for anything but I knew I needed to eat something to keep my energy up. “China 1 has really good food. They also have a convenient option of ordering online. Unlike most of the fast food places in Union, my order has always been ready when they said it would be and it was always 100 percent correct. The prices are a little high compared to other Asian restaurants in town but the food is worth the extra couple of bucks if you like good food.”

“Family atmosphere.Just 1 thing, if you like Strong coffee this may not be your place. It depends on who is brewing the coffee whether you get brown water or strong coffee.I really liked the place and do recommend it.”

“1000% recommend!! We ordered the fried shrimp, shrimp Alfredo and fried okra and it was AMAZING. On top of that, the food was hot and nicely packaged. We moved here from Beaufort and finding anyone with good seafood this far upstate has been a challenge. Everything was just phenomenal and we will definitely be repeat customers!! Thank you!!”

“I lived in Union a while back and I remember when Hearts reopened. I had heard a lot of good things about it but from that first bite of their Hamburger Steak I was hooked! I’ve been away for over 3 years and I still remember how amazing it was. I came to Union on personal business yesterday and ordered me and my husband a small HB steak plate and even after an hours drive home it was the best dang food we’d eaten in a long time. Now my husband is anticipating my next trip to Union so I can bring him home another plate of this deliciousness ❤️”

“We stopped in Union, SC and was hungry on a Sunday afternoon. There were no signs pointing to Soul Food or restaurants. And trying to find on phone/internet was to no avail. Asked a worker at a store, and she was kind enough to show us driving to the place, and walked right up to the counter.Back to the Food! It was fantastic. They took pride in preparation and taste, and presented to us. Though there is no INSIDE eating area, it was a great carryout. Taste and Value wise. Off the beaten path because you to have to dig to find gems. The DESSERTS are 5-STAR.If you are in the area, you deserve a treat. And get there early or be hungry! There may be a line...”

“Even if the pizza is not my favorite the puffs and cheese bread is so good. Can’t forget crazy bread!!! Get light sauce and the pizza will be good. I’m not a fan of the sauce. I will usually get Pizza Hut pizza then got get some cheese bread and puffs from little Caesars! Would recommend order online. It’s kinda of Skibidi though.”
