Took my granddaughter out for a visit and she got the Reese cup cake not so bad but My lemon pistachio was so dried out it crumbled in the box when we tried to cut it. It was tasteless and dry! Over priced and not worth the $33 I paid . Never again. All the fluff with no flavor ☹️

Great vibe at this on trend cafe that doubles as late night drink fix or morning lattes with hand crafted baked goodies.Be sure to try the Mint Martinis and the Tiramisu. All made with passion by an exuberant team!

Our cakes were yummy! Carrot cake, strawberry, and chocolate. I wish we had taken photos because they were also so pretty and cute, about 2-4 servings for the personal sized ones.
My office is down the street. I come in about once a week. I drive by twice a day, many times the doors are open and I can see into the shop. Every time there’s old food and trash under the tables and high tops. it’s disgusting. I hate sitting down and looking and seeing old food under me. just have somebody go around and sweep about every hour. Your customers will appreciate and respect a clean establishment.Your desserts are actually pretty good and the coffee is usually strong.

I always make an effort to visit Carmella’s when I’m in Charleston. On this visit, my colleague and I stopped in for “dessert”…boozy shakes (Tiramisu for her and Pistachio for me). Sooo good! I wanted to get the Lemon Pistachio cake but was satisfied with the shake. Carmella’s is a must-visit!

A little crowded and overwhelming, may have been because it was a Saturday. Prices are a bit high for my liking, but the food is delicious and service is good!

The highlight of our trip from Conway to Charleston was Carmella's Cafe and Dessert Bar. Alain and his entire crew are amazing. We loved the energy at Carmella's. We'll be back soon!

This place, I mistook for a dessert place, is actually a bar that has premade desserts, cakes, sorbets, lattes, and gelatos. I got the banana pudding cake which was in a plastic cup. It’s a good size for 2 people but a little much for just 1 person. The small cakes looked stellar but didn’t taste good. They have a bar but I’ve no clue how that is as I don’t drink. The banana pudding tasted great but the Tiramisu was just a whipped cream dried cake mess. I guess the place doesn’t really live up to its hype! Maybe recommended for giving a try once but not my pick for a 2nd visiటీ.
