Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar Reviews
Some gal pals and I went here the other month and from start to finish it was an absolute delight. As a seasoned veteran of sampling culinary delights I have got to admit it was one of the best meals and experiences of my days. Absolutely no notes.
We were In Charleston for a quick 2 day visit and wanted to eat great food. After eating at Amen Street for dinner the first night we knew this was the BEST in town so didn’t venture any further the second night. The oysters 🦪 were fabulous whether in shooters or baked! Great fresh fish and shrimp and even the salads were delicious. Highly recommend! We even went to their sister restaurant while staying in Isle of Palms.
The food, cocktails, atmosphere, and service were a 10/10 for my wife and I. The oysters were perfect and the specials were interesting and delicious. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Charleston!

Amen Street Fish & Raw Bar offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for diners. Guests can enjoy a glass of wine at the bar while waiting for their reservation and are often impressed by the attentive service. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, including the swordfish with succotash, surf and turf filet, crab cake, and fresh catch wahoo. The house-made key lime pie remains a popular dessert choice. The restaurant is conveniently located across from several hotels, making it a great option for travelers. Customers frequently praise the amazing food and friendly service, especially the scallops, crab cakes, oysters on the half shell, and seafood platter. Many appreciate the consistent quality and reasonable prices, which make Amen Street a favorite among Charleston diners. Recent reviews highlight the excellent seafood, with dishes like raw oysters, scallops, and the seafood platter receiving high praise. Guests have enjoyed dishes such as the scallops with risotto, shrimp corndogs, and the low country boiled bouillabaisse, which are often described as delivering in every way. The she crab soup and baked oysters are also highly recommended, and the restaurant’s welcoming environment continues to draw visitors. Although there was disappointment about the fried lobster not being available, guests still strongly recommend Amen Street for its fresh seafood and friendly atmosphere. The unique oyster shell chandeliers add to the dining experience, making it a memorable spot in Charleston.
