The four of all came for the first time with high expectations, and they were all surpassed. The ambience is warm and inviting, the service was outstanding, the wine was perfectly paired, and the food was incredible. By far the best overall dining experience we've had in Charleston in quite awhile. Kudos!
FIG is the perfect spot in Charleston to go for a special occasion. Everything is made to perfection and the service is 10/10. This is one of the few menus where we are open to trying absolutely anything because we know it will be amazing. We had Alex as our server and he added to the experience, being able to perfectly describe complex flavors of the dishes and really paint a picture to how the dishes were made. It is pricey but very worth it. Make sure to get a reservation EARLY...
Hands down one of the best meals I've had in recent history. Steak tartare was unbelievable, well seasoned and served with an impossibly thin potato crisp. The lamb was served like a ribeye cap with a bordelaise-like sauce. Creative and balanced cocktails, plus a nice wine selection. And our server knew her stuff. Overall a terrific experience.
