Nestled in Meeting Street, you'll find Le Macaron: it's a casual place to drop in and pick up a macaron, a bignet, and a cup of coffee. There are some sinfully seductive chocolates as well, but I didn't try those. It's pricey; it's excellent.
Nice little shop to get your Macaron on. While they do offer other tasty treats such as chocolates , candies and gelato to name a few, the macarons are simply delicious. My 13-year old daughter loves macarons so we always hit up any shop that offers them and on this day, Le Macaron was the shop. Macarons, Beneits, Chocolate and good coffee in the heart of Charleston. Even though it was 6PM, the macarons were crunchy and the beneits were soft. The lady served with a smile and even though seating is limited, we found a table. The ambiance is basic but quick service and good pastries make up for it.
