My husband and I were downtown yesterday to provision more food for our boat trip, but decided we had to have lunch first. We walked into Mac's around 2:30pm on a Monday, so it wasn't too loud or crowded, but there were plenty of TV screens, music and lots of drink and food choices on that cold day. My husband ordered a vegetarian burger with mushrooms and provolone cheese. I ordered a bowl of Italian Wedding soup with a half of a Reuben sandwich. It was a warm and filling lunch on that 33⁰ day. We hated to leave, but we had to get groceries. Chris was our waitress and was fantastic! We'll look forward to a longer visit to Mac's Place the next time we're in Charleston. ( I was very tempted to order their Guinness Beef Stew, but love a good Reuben too.)

Came in with a group looking to watch a game. Bryan behind the bar was dismissive, rude, and confrontational when we asked to have the game played on any one of the 30 tvs, stating all the tvs were reserved, even when a group of 5 left the bar leaving two tvs with no viewers. Got told to get to the bar before the game starts or watch it from our house, he didn't care if we stayed or left. Pretty stark comparison to my experiences at other sports bars here.

This place had a lot of atmosphere, tons of Chicago sports memorabilia. Simple but good menu. Food was excellent. would highly recommend the Sweet tater tots. Service was good and efficient. Pricer were good and we were served quickly.

As a first time guest here, I am 100% satisfied. The food was amazing! The drinks are made to perfection. My server, Liz, was wonderful!! She made me feel so welcome & gave me great recommendations from the menu. The cheese stuffed pretzels are delicious. I will be adding this place to my list of go-to’s. I really enjoyed my experience here!

Lost our credit card, feels like a set up. Within minutes of bringing us the wrong card our card was hit with charges. Luckily credit card company denied it and card was canceled. I believe these ppl are thieves and most likely do this a lot.

Went in with a group of girls on a Saturday at 5PM. The bartenders (both girls) had a terrible attitude towards us generally speaking. We were basically the only people at the bar and it took way longer than needed to even get asked what we would like. After we ordered, the bartenders proceeded to walk to the register, point and talk about all of us. Definitely the worst service I’ve ever experienced. We each individually got an “attitude” from the bartenders the entire time we were there. We felt so unwelcomed in the restaurant we left to take our business elsewhere. This was a huge disappointment to our trip and will never be back.

In town with my husband and son, and decided to pop into this bar for a quick break and snack. Really glad we did! Our son loved the Mac and cheese bites and the arcade games. Chefs special of the cucumber salad was great too! Our server was Aubrey, she suggested the food items and they were a success. She did a great job despite the table next to us giving her a really hard time. Overall great place for lunch, I recommend this place for a quick bite in Charleston
