Maguro Sushi Bar offers fresh and delicious sushi in a welcoming setting. The ambience is spot on, and the sushi bar provides an incredible experience. Guests enjoyed Sashimi as an appetizer and a bunch of nigiri, with everything fresh and perfect. Standout dishes include the sashimi salad with the best dressing, the Yummy Yummy roll, and the fiery roll recommended by the chef. The lunch/dinner combo for $50 is the best deal, offering miso soup, seaweed salad, crab rangoon or spring rolls, and four sushi rolls. The food is absolutely phenomenal, with fresh ingredients and fun combos. The sushi chef is funny, friendly, and super helpful, while the server is attentive but allows guests to relax. However, takeout orders are not ready when promised, often taking over 40 minutes instead of 20. For a sit-down meal, this is West Ashley’s best sushi spot.
