The restaurant is very expensive but the Brussels sprouts in my dish were raw. They acted like nothing happened and brought me smash potatoes. It is incredible that happens in such an expensive restaurant. The wine selection is good.

This fun restaurant was buzzing when we walked in from the rainy evening. Our waiter was very attentive and our cocktails were delicious!

Favorite brunch location in Charleston. Steak and Eggs are always a go-to. The Swordfish Sandwich (recommended by our server) could be the best fish sandwich from New Orleans to Cape Cod! The butternut squash soup was amazing. Don’t miss.

Came here for our honeymoon, they gifted us a glass of champagne when we sat down. We ordered the duck and rack of lamb and the service was exceptional, highly recommend coming here for any special event!!

Slightly North of Broad is a true Charleston classic. The service is always warm, the food is consistently excellent, and the space perfectly captures that Lowcountry mix of refinement and comfort.
Whether I’m meeting clients for lunch or celebrating a closing dinner, SNOB never disappoints. The shrimp and grits, the she-crab soup, even the cocktails everything feels like Charleston on a plate.
As someone who lives and works in 29401, I love recommending places like this to people discovering downtown for the first time.

By far the best dining experience I've had in years. Our server, Marshall, was awesome & recommended a few things & we tried a variety of foods....everything was fantastic with the shrimp & grits being my favorite.

The beef carpaccio was the best I have ever had. Amazing toasted bread, light, fluffy with a little crunch. Perfectly dressed greens and seasoned beef. Absolutely delicious.
Burger and BBQ pork sandwich were also great. Definitely worth a visit.

Firstly, a shout out to Danielle for her outstanding service. She really made our experience special. The shrimp and grits were excellent as was the southern medley.
Loved the banana cream pie and chocolate pot de creme.

Absolutely incredible dining experience! The food was delicious, but the service was really amazing. Several people were attending to our party of 4 adults and quite efficiently! We were all very impressed with the attention to detail throughout the evening and we all felt very well taken care of. The atmosphere is sophisticated and elegant. We visited several higher end restaurants during our weekend visit, but Slightly North of Broad really stood out far above and beyond!

What an experience! If you’re in Charleston and looking for a truly top-tier restaurant, this is it. The atmosphere and service are outstanding, but the food takes it to another level, absolutely phenomenal. I went with family to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday, and we found ourselves sharing plates just to taste everything because each dish was that good. Even the mocktails were crafted to perfection. We order the okra for an appetizer and scallops and tuna for the main. A must-visit!

Wait service and food were both outstanding. Unfortunately we were seated at the 2-top in the aisle right where the service staff converges from all sides of the business to get to the bar to order/pick up drinks, and the customers do the same to use the toilet (which of course we didn’t realize would be the case as this was our first time here). All the while the wooden floor around our table and chairs kept giving in and bouncing back up anytime someone walked by which initially was about 10 people or more a minute.
I guess their thinking is that if you’re dumb enough to sit there you deserve what you get. Do they really need the cash from that table location that bad?
