I wanted to compare this chain to Smoothie King. Smoothie King is better. -Tropical Smoothie Cafe uses much more ice in their smoothie so the taste is weak in comparison.-Only one size which Is not ideal, I like the 40oz from Smoothie King.-I was asked to tip on card machine and all they did was make a smoothie I paid for and hand it to me. So that makes no sense.-Blender left extremely small but still noticeable granules of Ice. Im not sure what blender they use but my Vitamix A3500 is a non commercial blender but does a better job with ice than their blender.But they have location in a area I will be in often so I'll be back. It's just not in the same league as Smoothie King or even my home blender.

0 stars. Showed up at 3:30 pm on a Saturday. Waited at drive thru for 5 minutes with no one taking our order. Got out and went to the front door to find it locked. There were customers sitting inside with their food / drinks. They opened the door for us to tell us the workers said they were no longer taking orders with no explanation as to why. Lazy

Third time I order online and get to place to pick up and of course lobby is closed and you have to stay on drive through line while they take orders, prepare meals and so on. What’s the point of online order if you can’t pick up?

They randomly decide to shut down to "drive-thru only," which means if you live within walking distance, you have to walk back home and get in your car and waste gas, which means they lose all their local business b/c who would do that. It also means that they are not a local-friendly business - local-hostile is how I'd label them. Treat them as such and find your smoothies elsewhere

I ordered lunch delivery via DoorDash. The Thai Chicken Chicken Salad had rotten cilantro and slimy rotten carrots, which brought doubt regarding the safety of the other elements of the salad.I don’t post a negative review about a restaurant, but serving rotten food is totally unacceptable. This place better clean up their act before someone gets sick or worse.

I went through the drive-through and ordered a Chicken Chipole flatbread on 12/9/2023, between 1:30 PM -2:00 PM. My order was not properly completed. I received items on my sandwich I requested not to have, due to my severe food allergies. I brought the flatbread sandwich inside and reminded the worker of my initial order without the cheese, bacon, and chipotle mayonnaise. During the process of waiting for my sandwich to be made again, I heard the manager yelling at the female who made the sandwich incorrectly. All the females were African American and the one that made the sandwich incorrectly was a new caucasian female worker. I felt her pain with being talked down to and repeatedly yelled at by her manager. I was then provided with my sandwich. but was told by a light-complexed African-American female that she and the female with the braids were managers. I told them that as a customer; I did not think it was professional to yell at her employee in the presence of customers. I also told her she was wrong to use that approach. I was then asked to leave the establishment by the light-complexed female and told them I would report their behavior. Once I got outside, I noticed my sandwich was still made incorrectly, but lost money on that because I was asked to leave. There was no number listed on the building within my view to call the owner. I feel sad for the new worker and I use race here to identify each of them since no names were provided when asked. I like eating there but will not until they are both gone. Very unprofessional managers with very poor customer service and managerial skills.

There were very few customers and the drive through took us over a half hour to get to window...then we waited longer. Look at their card reader carefully as it can easily add in a tip. I didn't plan to tip after having waited over a half hour. Smoothies were average, but not worth the wait.

The service is always top notch. I had a great experience with Andrea this morning who accommodated all my special request. I highly recommend this location for its great staff and great service.This is such a gem on James Island. Among the endless sea of pizza joints, Mexican restaurants and all the unhealthy drive thru options it great to have a healthy option to grab something fast with the kids.

This place used to be rough. long waits, bad customer service etc. but they have improved so much. Byron the manager has really turned the place around.

Waited 30+ minutes and didn’t even get to order with one car in front of us, we decided to leave the drive through but were trapped due to 2 cars in front of us and a giant curb keeping us in so we had to drive over it. There were 2 cars in front of us and I couldn’t even imagine how long they were waiting for.

went to the drive thru and no one answered for 5 minutes. even backed up and pulled up again. I simply said "hello?", and the women on the speaker yelled and said "give me a minute". so rude and uncalled for.

Be prepared to wait a long time for any order.. also the staff is rude and needs more employees. Owner needs to do better.
