“Walflin is a FANTASTIC addition to Downtown Charleston. Don't let the location deter you - it shares a shop with an antique store (maybe the same owner?) which is a little odd but I am so happy I tried it. The waffles are incredible and the staff always goes above and beyond. Everyone is so friendly and I can't say enough about the food - SO GOOD! Plus, the waffles are pretty easy to carry around, so no need to eat your dessert inside this antique shop if you don't want - take a stroll down market street while devouring this indulgent dessert!“
“I love this place! My church is in the same shopping center, and a bunch of us go over after church for the most delightful lunches. I love the bialys (toasted with butter, mmm) and the French press coffee but many of my friends swear by the salmon lox bagel sandwich. I'm also on Blazing Star's challah list - their challah bread is SO delicious. But the very best part is the staff: we all adore Bettina (co-founder) and everyone who works there is wonderful. Just the best place to enjoy a relaxed conversation with friends (and the staff!) while cared for by the kindest staff ever. Highly recommended!Wheelchair accessibility: We took a friend to lunch here and he had no problem at all maneuvering around in his wheelchair.“
“Stopped by this location on a Monday evening. The server was very friendly and quick to fulfill our requests. I had butter pecan Ice cream, extra pecans mixed in with caramel in a dark chocolate waffle cone. The server placed caramel inside my cone before the ice cream, delicious! I would definitely visit again. Prices were reasonable.“
“Very cute and cozy coffee shop. I frequent the one in West Ashley where the baristas make excellent cups of coffees and have great seasonal drinks. So far I loved the fall sweet potatoe latte and now the winter special of peppermint mocha. Their coffee art is on point!“
