“Todd from SBHs was the first person to get back to me after I made several catering inquiries online. He called me, personally, later the same day. He took my request over the phone, encouraged me to use his cell phone for any questions, and sent me an estimate within a couple of hours. When I texted with questions or changes, he got back to me within the hour. It was a small party, less than 50, so we picked up the food ourselves and he provided the chafing dishes and Sternos. Food was ready as promised, and it was delicious!! We ordered the brisket, pulled pork and chicken, Mac and cheese and collards. Our guests were very happy and so were we! Thanks, Todd, for the great experience!”

“The best steak tacos and cheese quesadillas I've ever put in my mouth! The pic doesn't do it justice, trust me. The steak was finely shredded and seasoned perfectly. The cheese quesadilla was loaded with creamy cheese and the tortilla was cooked perfectly, it was buttery and just the right amount of crispy. I do wish it was closer to home, but it is well worth the drive! Very friendly staff too! We will be back soon!”

“We love going here! I also love that one of the ladies made my mama some very fine grounded up beef for her to have since my mama has a tracheostomy and it's hard for her to eat meat anymore. My mama said it was wonderful and she ate every bite! It's been a long time my mama has had meat besides fish!”

“My family and I love John’s! His breakfasts are amazing. Of course, my favorite is the huge waffle with bacon. For lunch, I love the cafe combo served with his spicy pimento cheese and chicken salad. In addition to great food, there is a friendly atmosphere, making it a great place to eat.”

We were not dressed fancy and had our kids in tow and they were still incredibly kind and the food was hot, delicious, fresh, and the best part of the last week vacation we’ve had.
